oh denise, i'm so sorry that you're going through all this. you and your entire family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
i can't imagine how unsettling the thought of this surgery is... but you know ethan is in good hands, and you will be with him every step of the way...
your step-sister sounds like an absolutely amazing and beautiful person. you should all be so proud! it is so tragic that she will soon no longer be with you, but she is giving the most tremendous gift to future doctors and scientists. the person who learns using her body may very well be the one who finds the cure for her disease.

Oh Denise you have so much on your plate right now.
The only experience I have with Schnieders was the genetics that DS had to do to rule out CF, but they staff there is phenomenal and they are VERY understanding and patient. While we were waiting for the results, they sent someone to come and talk to me b/c the geneticist saw how upset I was.

Thank you all so much We are so grateful for the FMs, hugs and prayers.
I wish we could visit my step sister (DS makes her smile), but at this point she's at her dad's and is so bad, she can't have visitors.
I do believe that DS will pull through his surgeries like a champ, it'll just be really hard seeing him like that & in pain.
I am gratefully accepting the extra hugs and kisses DS apparently has for me today Maybe he knows mommy needs them.
