Oh Denise - just one thing would be a lot for anyone to deal with. I'm so sorry you're going through all of this
I hope your stepsister goes as painlessly as possible
As for that cutie, it would be odd if you weren't nervous - you're his mom  But as you said, you trust the doctors implicitly and you know there's no place better for him than Schneider's. I have you all in my thoughts - everything will work out fine - better than fine, afterwards it'll be over!

Im so so sorry Your both gonna get through this better then before!
My nephew recently had to have a 3 day test done there ( hospital) and my Sister and BIL and youngest son stayed at the ROnald Mcdonald house next door if that helps? They didnt have money for a 4 day hotel, it was too far to drive so often and he was old enough to be able to sleep alone at night. Not sure if that helps, but if you want the info, FM me!
We miss you guys and hope to see you as soon as this is all behind you guys! Always in my prayers!

Your strength through all of this has just been amazing. How you can take on so much like you do just astounds me day after day.
I pray your step sister is not in any pain I also pray for her mother and the rest of the family to be strong for her during her weakest times
We know Ethan is going to fight his way through this surgery like the champ he is and give Mommy and Daddy the biggest smile he can! I know what you will be going through, having your son go through an invasive procedure and then to see him so swollen afterwards. You know the second you need someone at the hospital for a shoulder - I'm there!

My son had surgery at Schnieder's and my husband and I alternated staying in the room since you only have one place to sleep.
We got a room at Ronald McDonald house. The first day you are there you have to speak to a social worker and they will give you all the info. about the McDonald house. It was a lifesaver for us as we were there over a week. Its right next door and you can walk there and you and your family can park there.

I'm sorry about your stepsister. My mom recently passed away from lung cancer. All you can do is pray that they aren't in pain and that they will finally be at peace.
My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time
