The information I've been given has been very helpful. I'm working on staying at the Ronald McDonald House thanks to some recommendations and as long as they have availability, we're in. I believe DS will be in the PICU for a good majority of his stay, so this will allow me to be close by since I won't be able to stay overnight in the room with him.
My SS is still the same at this point. She's even having a hard time holding her head up.
