This is such a hard week for us...
I've been preparing for DS's head reconstructive surgery that's later this week. I totally trust his Drs, but I can't help it- as it gets closer I get more and more nervous. It's hard to think about them removing part of his skull (sorry for the graphic). I've been warned about this, but it's also going to be hard to see him with his eyes swollen shut for 1-2 days
Has anyone stayed at Schneider's with their child? Any info/tips for us?
Also, my 18 yr old step sister is getting so much worse. They stopped her radiation and she's on oxygen all the time now. She decided she's going to donate her body to science and doesn't want a funeral. They'll have a memorial for her a few weeks after. It's just so unfair  I just pray she goes with as little pain possible
I'm doing ok I guess, but all of this has been a lot to deal with. I've been kind of blocking out parts and just doing what needs to get done.
