I'm confused - is Trump a disgusting pig for wanting Marla to have an abortion? Or is it because he changed his mind and then said he is "pro-life?"
I don't think that supporting Trump means that you necessarily agree with everything he says and believes. Just like if you support Hillary you maybe don't support every single thing she does. But it's about what "issues" each person feels is important to them. Perhaps people are willing to overlook his lack of social graces because they feel he will be good for the economy. Some others may feel like they don't care about Hillary's past misdeeds because Hillary will better support women's rights. To each his own.
The old saying is that if you keep on doing what you are doing (electing politician after politician), you will keep getting what you are already getting. And people are upset about things that are and have been going on in this country. That isn't Trump's fault.
He's a disgusting pig because he couldn't keep it in his pants and got his mistress knocked up and wanted her to have an abortion.
I couldn't care less about his stance on anything because he has no stance on anything. His views change at a moment's notice. He has zero conviction about anything. That alone is reason to not vote for him.
I get the whole "we are sick of lying sack of crap politicians" thing. But, how is electing a "lying sack of crap businessman" seem like a better option? It's maddening to me.

Again, I know, no replies but wasn't Kennedy sleeping with Marilyn Monroe, cheating on his wife? I don't think she was the only one he had an affair with either.

I'm opposed to GMOs because they are designed so the plants can be sprayed with more chemicals without dying. I'm not so much concerned about the genetic changes because science hasn't proven them dangerous (according to the studies I've read), it seems the danger lies in the chemical herbicides and pesticides and not the actual genetic modification.
Until recently, I thought Non-GMO labeling was the solution and wanted a candidate that also supports labeling, but look at all the recent news with oatmeal. It's a non-GMO crop because it can already withstand a huge amount of pesticide and herbicide being dumped on it. So I was buying something labeled non-GMO thinking it was safer but it isn't. It has just as much chemicals as GMO crops. So labeling is not really helpful, it gives people a false sense of safety.
If your concerned about GMOs the logical thing to do is just buy organic and that solves that. I mean at least it's the best you can do unless you start farming your own foods. Yes sometimes organic companies are found to violate the rules and their foods contain traces of pesticides they shouldn't be using but I believe it's still safer then conventionally farmed foods.
This issue needs to be taken out of consideration for this election because both candidates support Monsanto. Let's start considering the candidates positions on the other issues that will actually make a difference in this election.
Recently I've been thinking about Trump and his pro-life stance. Being a wealthy man, if he got his mistress knocked up... I think he'd def insist on an abortion. He used to be openly pro-choice. So this is a case of him changing his mind only because he had to if he wanted the support of the republican party. Who knows his real thoughts on anything?
I agree with what you're saying but unfortunately the Gmo seeds are blowing across fields and contaminating non Gmo farms.
Also we have a right to know what we are putting in our bodies. I personally want labels. Don't take that choice from me.
I know I am getting off topic but how would people feel about genetically modified meat, meat from cloned animals? Please don't answer that question but at what point do we have a right to know what we are ingesting?

Not sure what Kennedy's affairs have to do with Trump. But, any man who has an affair is a pig in my opinion. That includes Bill Clinton as well.

Just adding that in as I don't think there is ANY president that was squeaky clean with everything and that everyone agreed with.
People are just tired of politicians and this is what I hear over and over.

He was quite the horndog. One of his mistresses was murdered and it was never solved. I read a great book about it. A Very Private Woman: The Life and Unsolved Murder of Presidential Mistress Mary Meyer
We all know Bill cheated on Hillary. I don't see how this affects Hillary's fitness to be president. Trump is calling her out on it, saying she ruined the lives of the women Bill cheated with. This disgusts me because: - I haven't seen any objective proof. - he cheated on his first wife - if a woman cheated with my husband, knowing he was married (and Bill was high profile so I am sure some of those women knew) damn right I'd %&!@ them up, if not physically. Difference is I don't know that I'd stay with my husband, but that was her choice. Who knows, leaving him may have been better for her career than staying.

No kidding.
For me the issue isn't that Trump cheated on his wife, I actually don't give a crap about that. In my opinion, it's between the man and his wife. (I do think he's a nasty pig as a person, but that aside). As president, I care about selecting someone who has integrity and consistency with the public and his policies, and does not flip flop and lie to the American people. The only one who fits the bill in my opinion is Bernie Sanders.

This sentence bothers me so much because people keep repeating it (way more than just the poster I quoted, so this isn't just directed at you), like as if Trump somehow won't be bound by the constitution.
He can't get ANYTHING DONE any more than any other politician can, because our government doesn't work that way. He doesn't have a plan for half of the things he says, and anything he wants to do has to be approved by congress anyway. Half the things he wants to do are unconstitutional!!
This is what kills me.. regular people don't understand how the government really works, and I understand that. I was a political science major in college and one of the things we learned was that people generally don't have the first clue as to what is going on - and we're talking about people who actually follow the news. But TRUMP has demonstrated time and time again that HE doesn't know how our government works either!
Things are not supposed to happen quickly. That's one of the assurances we have to protect against a dictatorship, the slow, agonizing process of passing laws and whatnot. This is one of the reasons NO PRESIDENT can ever do all they say they will do. Because Congress won't allow it. But what happens then? We hate on the president but we either don't vote in the congressional elections - which IMO are even more important than the president - or we vote the same people in again and again (I am guilty of this myself). Congress are the people who are making or breaking this country. The president is just the face of our nation.
Personally, I don't want the face of our nation to be an blowhard with 7 bankruptcies under his belt who can't verbalize any of his plans for our country, who is completely lacking in social grace.
Stepping off my now.

EXACTLY!!!!
I can't see Trump even attempting to work with Congress and I don't think most of Congress will be big fans of his either. Trump seems to think he can bully his way through any situation and if he doesn't like what he hears, he "takes his ball and goes home." Our government doesn't work that way - diplomacy and negotiation are NECESSARY - two things Trump refuses to participate in

Perfectly stated. Checks and balances, which was designed for very valid reasons!
IMO, if people want real change, they should be focused on banning lobbying, at least by profit making entities. The is one of the main problems with our gov't as it is essentially bribery. But I digress...

No One will argue illegal immigration is a problem. No one.
--Trump wants to build a wall (that wont happen) --Make the Mexicans pay for it (wont happen) --Has threatened to go to war if they don't (wont happen). --The problems with building a wall are so numerous its comical. Women. Trump does not respect women at all.
Watch this:
Trump mocks the handicapped and thinks its funny:
I can go on and on. So when saying I am out of touch with what Americans are concerned about that could not be further from the truth.
I am shocked people would back a candidate with no experience to run the country, who makes fun or women, mocks the handicapped, is a racist and who is saying (by his own admission) just about anything right now to get the nomination. He said "I will be SO presidential".

Re: Clinton vs Trump
This is so disconcerting to me. Even if it isn't the reality, Trump has chosen to portray himself as a racist, sexist, war-happy, anti-semitic bigot who knows very little about how this country's political system works. Even if it IS an act, the fact that this is the "act" he chose is problematic itself. Citizens (and POLITICIANS) in other countries are laughing at the US right now. And quite frankly, I'm not even remotely assured that Trump won't just try to 'sue the pants' off of anyone/anything/any country that looks at him funny. There's a difference, IMO, between not agreeing with a politician on every issue....and supporting one who is either actually, or making himself purposely appear to be, a terrible person.
*and IMO his terribleness has nothing to do with cheating on a spouse. That's the LEAST of my concerns.

Brilliant.

We are worse off now than when Obama was elected in 2008. Hopefully we can only go up with whomever is elected.
Maybe your family has been negatively affected by Obama's policies since he's taken office- it happens. No President's policies are great for everyone. But in general, as much as people hate to admit it, Obama has done a good job.
- the economy has added 9 million jobs. - gas prices are down - home ownership is up - corporate profits are up

Didn't see the date but did read the article and heard the same high numbers yesterday on the radio so I guess it hasn't gotten any better since this article.
