2010 Workout Log!
I figured I would kick this off!
I started my new year with an hour long run/walk in this gorgeous weather!

Today I did about 30 mins on my Pilate Reformer.
I wish I was as motivated as you- a 1mile walk/run is awesome!!!

Ran 30 flights of stairs as fast as possible. The bluff at the beach at my house is 10 flights of stairs. After every 10 flights, 10 unassisted pullups (on a tree branch ). The gym was closed so I had to improvise.

1/2: -4 sets of 10 pull ups & dead lifts no resting. -4 sets of 10 lat pull downs & seated row no resting -3 sets of kettlebell figure 8 to hold (this is what it is in case you want to know http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQgKhis8Y64 ) for as many as I can and then rest 1 minute. -get up sit ups (demo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AWdpfbhCPI&feature=related ) - I am trying to do good turkish get ups and the best way to learn to do it right it is to do the sit up portion for a while. -30 minutes on the treadmill, sprints on incline & walking on incline

Gotta start slow.... first day back since giving birth
1/2/10 -30 mins elliptical - light arms: back, chest, shoulders -light abs

Yesterday - 45 minutes "Just Dance" on Wii
I am still away at my SIL's with my son so it's hard to get out and workout - so once my life is back in order on Monday I will be back to my regular routine (which I never post but will from now on! )

1/3: -4 sets of squats and then stiff legged dead lifts super sets, no resting. -4 sets of step up lunges -box jumps -kettlebell swings, as many as i can for as long as I can, then rest 1 minute & go again -30 min on the elliptical

I did day one of the 30 day challenge of the AE Active for Wii on challenging. It kicked my butt but I'm glad I did it - DH wanted to go for sushi and I decided not to since it would cancel out all my exercise!

1/4: -4 sets flat bench press super set with pushups (sets of 10) and get up sit ups. -4 sets dumbell press on the stability ball -5 sets ring flys (http://www.ringtraining.com/pages/perfectyourpushups.html ) -30 minutes on the elliptical

Jan 2 - Pilates DVD
I am only doing Pilates this week because I still have some pain in my leg. I pulled a muscle in my calf right before Christmas.
Hopefully next week I can go back to my cardio.
