which diaper pail thing did you register for?
I was told the Diaper Decor was better than others-- but at BBB today, they were on clearance (which we took as not a good sign), and many of them also seem to be out of stock according to the BBB web site, therefore I can't add anything to my stinkin' registry.

We've used the Diaper Champ and are happy with it. I like that you don't have to buy special bags for it.

Re: which diaper pail thing did you register for?
We were originally going with the Diaper Dekor, however we ended up with the Diaper Genie II Elite ....it is the newest version of the Diaper Genie and now has a foot pedal "for easy hands-free disposal". It has some good review on BRU website.
I will let you know how it is when she arrives in a week!!!

Diaper Champ. We like it. I never smell anything from it, but then again, they say breastfed poops don't smell as bad as formula poops. I dunno, I think poop is poop is poop.

Re: which diaper pail thing did you register for?
none, i get grossed out by the thought of them. For DD i keep a stock of bags in her room and each diaper gets put in one and brought straight down ot the garbage in the kitchen which gets thrown everyday. During the night, we used to just keep them in the bag and throw them out in the morning.

Re: which diaper pail thing did you register for?
We went with the diaper champ because you could use regular trash bags in it. However, after using it for several months it started to smell and it needs to be washed often to keep the smell from lingering around. Keep in mind, I never put poop diapers in it either.

Same here. They go right into those little powder smelling bags and take to the garbage in the kitchen that gets taken out every day.

I LOVE the powder smelling garbage bags.... the poo diapers go right into those.... the tinkle diapers go into a regular garbage bag from the store..... then right out to the trash!
IMO all those machines are a waste of money.... you can simply toss them out right into the garbage no problem!

Re: which diaper pail thing did you register for?
We have the Diaper Genie Elite and I have to say........it's AWESOME!!! Emerson has some stinky little diapers and you cannot smell a single thing in the nursery and there are a lot of diapers in that pail in between bag changes. It does a terrific job of keeping everything smelling fresh and clean and even when you flip open the pail to change the bags there is NO smell. Big fan......LOVE it!!

Same here. We just buy the powdered scented disposal diaper bags from BRU and put stinky diapers in them and then put them right outside.

Re: which diaper pail thing did you register for?
Ya know when we registered I looked at the reviews for these things and everyone said that the Diaper Champ was great. So we got one and we HATE IT! DS's poop diapers stink up the place and it does NOTHING to cover the smell. We have to bag them up in the powder smelled bags before we put it in the Diaper Champ. So annoying!

Re: which diaper pail thing did you register for?
I have the Diaper Dekor and have been using it for over 2 yrs. I have only used it for pee diapers though never poop. That I just put in a doggie poop bag and throw it right outside.
