Well...i took Ian to a 3rd opinion like you guys suggested...
and it's confirmed he needs glasses cause he's extremely farsighted in his left eye.  not even a year old. now the fight starts to get him to keep them on. good news is the doctor said because i caught it so early there is a good chance it can correct itself and he wont need patching.
so i took him today to get fitted for glasses...whatcha think?

I was just about to say this. I mean seriously...looks like he's the kid for the advertisement for the glasses...or at least he should be because he's just too cute!

He looks so cute in his glasses. My friend's 1 year old also wears glasses and once she got used to them, she doesn't even try to take them off.

As you might know, I just went through the same thing with Cailen and he is 3.5 - I wish I caught this when you did (he is far sighted too). I will never know if I caught it at 1, if it could have been corrected. Right now, the dr. said Cai's will never correct itself - he will need glasses for the rest of his life.
I admire your instincts! I wish mine were better!!! He looks so cute!
Which dr. did you use?

Thanks so much guys!! I'm having a rough time dealing with it, but i know it's not the end of the world. He just looks like a completely different baby to me.

Which dr. did you use?
I used Dr. Levi from Dr. Marmor's office in Plainview. LOVE her!! I'm making her my primary now and dropping Pinchoff. She was just so good with Ian, he didnt cry at all!
