this TOTALLY annoys me...
anyone else? that buybuybaby is 1000x more expensive than babies r???
the summer monitor at BBB is $200...at BRU?? $170? what is that all about anyway...
and of course this isnt the only thing- that just really annoys me...i hate that- because of this- BBB is really the only other "competitor" when it comes to having massive amounts of baby stuff, u know?
ugh, sorry, vent over....

lol- now THIS i will have to disagree with- BBB plays with my OCD side- it is so organzied,a ll their little sections for this and that......and the VARIETY!! i love an organized store like that.....
but they dont deserve me....
i get half my stuff NIB from ebay anyway, but i just left BRU and noticed the difference.....

ITA, but I do LOVE some of their products better. They also have everything displayed so you can test it out. I normally go there, test it out and buy it online.

It's all name brand perception I think. It's like buying a Lexus when all it really is is a Toyota. You pay for the name and the shopping "experience"

True, but their sales are better and you can use the 20% coupon on everything. Plus, they carry a lot of stuff that BRU doesn't. I have also found that the sales people are a lot more knowledgable of the products then those at BRU.

HOWEVER, their formula (RTF Similac) was 2 dollars CHEAPER a case!
and I got a killer deal on the baby furniture!

see i love bbb and would shop there instead of bru. think the quality is much better and like morgan said you can use the 20% coupon. used it on all pieces of furniture and saved over 700 dollars. they do price match and then you can use the 20% off on top of it. their return policy is better than bru too.

I agree in terms of better quality. The furniture sets are sets Ive seen in major furniture companies and then I used 20 percent off. For every day items I agree that BRU is cheaper and friendlier looking.

Some stuff toy wise is actually CHEAPER then BRU...
Depends on what your there for. I usually buy only when I have the 20% coupons.

I live closer to BBB so find it more convenient - I also like the way the store feels better than BRU, if that makes sense - and I only go when I have the coupons... there are things I will only buy at BRU - like formula - but I have to already be going in that direction, so most of the time I bite the bullet...

I actually prefer BBB over BRU. The formula there is cheaper, the staff is more helpful and they have more things on display. BRU has alot of items available online only which annoys me because most of them are big purchases that ideally are better to see in person before buying. Everything else I seem to look for at BBB is comparable in price to BRU IMO.
My only gripe with BBB is that towards the end of the year alot of the items get discontinued and are out of stock for a while. My BFF registered there and alot of the items she registered for were being discontinued and not available but I guess this can happen at any store.

BRU is cheaper, no doubt, but I've found the sales staff to be more helpful and better informed at BBB than at BRU. So for bigger items that we need help with (like furniture), I will go to BBB even if it's more $$$.
But for formula, diapers, clothing, etc. I will go to BRU.

I hear ya. But I love BBB over BRU because it is bright, clean and well organized and stocked.
To me, BRU is dingy, dirty, a mess and half the time, you buy something, get home to discovered it was used and returned. 
I'll gladly pay more.
