Re: *Sunday 1/2/11 QOTD*
I bought a house in a great area with great schools and I pay a lot in taxes so my DD is absolutely 100% going to public school. I would NEVER, EVER pay for my child to attend grades K-12, especially with the cost of college down the road. And as a teacher myself, I know that private schools don't necessarily really offer a better education per se. I personally think private schools are a waste of money.

Re: *Sunday 1/2/11 QOTD*
Depends where we live. I went to public school my whole life (in LI). My husband went to Catholic school k-8 (he grew up in Queens)...and then had to go to a public high school due to money and it was a big change! He wants to send them to Catholic school if we live in Queens, and I agree..unless we live in Bayside.
Anyway, we are looking to buy by the end of this year so depending where we are and how the schools are will determine this.
