Sunday QOTD** HAPPY VALENTINE"S DAY

So this is not TTC related..

What was the first VD Gift and/or your favorite gift that DH has given you since you have been together..

The first gift for me was a yellow gold heart pendant necklace w/ diamonds.. that was in 2002..


My favorite was the year we got married 2007 and he got me a precious moments(I collect them), perfume, pj's from VS, candy, & flowers... It was my favorite b/c it didn't have to tell him what I wanted and he picked everything out himself.. and he had paid attention in just passing conversations about things that I liked.. I didn't expect to get all of those things but it was very nice


and could you please tell me who has been future mommy to be of the week already so I don't pick the same person(I have a horrible memory )

Well, since I got NOTHING from him this year or last year and I can't remember what I got before that, if I got anything at all, I can't answer this question

I'm not too happy with my DH right now

I know he's been sick for the past couple of days but would it kill him to plan ahead and buy card more than a day in advance?

We don't usually exchange more than cards and candy for Valentine's Day but for Xmas a few years ago I gave my DH a 5 day trip to Caesars Palace in the Poconos and we were there for Valentine's so it was like a combo Xmas/Valentine gift. It was such a nice, relaxing, romantic weekend!!

Back in college I got us a room at Danford Inn in Port Jeff for Valentine's. My DH (boyfriend back then) was away on a job interview and I picked him up at the airport and took him right to our room that I decorated with balloons and candy and all kinds of other stuff. We had a nice romantic dinner and an awesome night. That was another great Valentine's Day that stands out. Oh......about a month and a half after that we were engaged!!

The first gift DH ever got me for Valentine's day was a TV, if you can believe it. It was 13 years ago. We were 19 and had been dating for about 6 months. I had just gotten over being sick and he felt bad for me that I was stuck in my room sans entertainment. I had bought him something really small and inconsequential. Needless to say, I cried when I opened the TV (and for about 2 hours after that) because I felt so bad that our gifts were so one sided. We still joke about to this day. He is such a good man and his heart is always in the right place

We don't usually exchange more than cards and maybe candy for Valentine's Day. As for my favorite gift, it's a toss up between two things. One is my wedding ring set because it honestly is my dream set that I had cut out of a magazine, but DH never saw it. The other was a surprise trip to VA Beach. DH told me to pack my bags for the weekend and never told me where we were going. It was so spontaneous and romantic.
