Seriously.....I really think you need to seek out professional help. Not only do you start a pet post on the wrong board (on purpose) but it's a topic that you KNOW will start drama. There's not one of us here stupid enough to believe that "you didn't know" that dogs don't belong in Target. Would you take your dog to Macy's or Bloomie's? Why, only the cheap stores are ok to break the law in? And lastly....you completely insult anyone who owns a poodle...miss "don't be a breed hater".
We all know this is you being bored trying to stir the pot. Don't get me wrong....it's definitely entertaining when you put yourself on the chopping block....But, get a hobby for pete's sake!!!

So, we took Misty to the park today and while she was running around off the leash (really) NOONE tried to pet her.

you're extremely rude. i don't need to "seek out help" someone had just posted about a dog in target "on the wrong board" and it reminded me of my experience today. i wanted to know if people randomly touch other people's dogs without their permission. that's not looking for drama. that's asking if it happens to other people. and actually yes, i DID bring my dog into macy's a week ago. i was at the dog store in the mall looking for stuff and had to go to macy's to get a couple of shirts for work. so it's not a matter of "cheap stores" which i don't even know what that means. i think you need to get off your soap box and chill out.
When you stop taking your animal into places that are meant for people because it was convenient for you, maybe I'll stop being "extremely rude". Did you for one minute take into consideration that people may have been deathly allergic to dogs when you haphazardly HAD to get some shirts for work? Did you think about the child in the store that may not have a pet and does not understand how to interact with a dog without provoking it, possibly creating a potentially dangerous situation?
NO. Your whole world revolves around you. Maybe you should grow up and stop acting like rules don't apply to you because they aren't convenient.
NOW....I'm stepping off the soap box.

just for posting my fm just goes to show you're extremely immature which scares me that you have a child. i brought my dog into a store (which last time i checked, macys didn't have a no pet policy and didn't serve food), i had to run an errand, he was with me. no big deal. i wasn't anywhere near the food section, i got what i needed and left.
about the people that have animal allergies, what about people that have allergies to perfume, or peanuts (maybe they serve the food there) or anything else?? you always have to take into consideration you may run into something that could trigger your allergies. (ie, if you were allergic to bees, would you not bring your epi pen with you at all times in the spring and summer?)
