Thats wonderful, but are those 3,000 people now going to adopt other animals that need homes?

Well true...but hopefully when they are there all dogs get looked at. However if someone didn't previously plan to go to NSAL to adopt a dog the dogs alreayd there probably stand just as much of a chance to be adopted by that same person now, maybe a tad more since people will be pouring in by the dozens hopefully.

News coverage can only help the other dogs and open up people's eyes to the need to adopt shelter dogs I would think. And would only help to bring in more traffic which in turn can hopefully help ALL dogs there to get noticed, and maybe capture someone's heart.

Oh I know, but just think if all those 3,000 people went to NSAL to adopt one of the dogs or cats there instead of just these new PM ones, every animal there would be adopted and then some.

Just saw on the news that ALL the 132 dogs were adopted AND many of the dogs that were alreayd there were adopted too!

You know people of course will consider dogs they never thought they would once they were there and it happened! They said that MANY reg dogs were adopted too just due to the sheer # of people that showed up! And you know that the workers there would surely advocate for ALL the NSAL dogs.

Yay, it worked!!! Just thought you might like to know!

Totally agree. Plus think of the dogs and cats in kill shelters. If only 3,000 people went to adopt them............!

i could only wish that this would happen over and over again with dogs confiscated by puppy mills. Maybe this will send them out of business if they think that they will get thier dogs taken from them and given away, plus have to pay fines. Maybe this is on the right track to shut these places down.

I know. That is why publicity is the key.

I think they said some cats were adopted too when all those people came in. I am pretty sure they siad that on the news. I have been trying to find more info online about it.
