In the same boat, Diana. I had a serious baby itch for a bit, and it's so hard getting DH on board. You know what started to scare me a little? not just the idea of 2 in daycare...but...going through the first 4 months again! 
Honestly though, I keep wondering if I could wait one more year to start trying just for financial reasons (and DH will be more on board then because it's ALWAYS about money ) but I'm going to be 37 this summer as it is....will another year really make that much of a difference? So if we wait another year, I'll be 38-going on 39 when I give birth.
I feel your frustration, I do!! I have already decided on a name for a boy (we fought and FOUGHT over a boy name before we knew Riley was a girl) and DH even agrees, so a song came on the other day about a boy with that name and I started to BAWL. A sign?
definitely!! go for it!! i want to know the name, btw

Everything will find a way of working out. Look into getting a nanny. Something. The sibling discount w/ daycare is a joke. 10% off the 2nd child---that's nothing.

BUT my SIL and sister are pregnant. that will give me a fix until the winter or spring of 2012

DD will be 4 months on Sunday and I already had that itch! Like you though we have to wait until DD is 4 and in school because we simply cannot afford to have 2 in daycare!

I think I may permanently have the itch. Started around 27 (before I even met DH) and hasn't gone away since, except for while I was in labor with DD 2 LOL.

I totally understand. Although I'm in the "one and done" club, I sometimes wish I was rich so I could have another. Finances are keeping that from happening. I totally understand the cost of daycare - paying $300 a week for ONE is a lot, I can't imagine $500-600 per week for 2!!! (Daycare discounts 10% which is next to nothing IMO.) AND we can't afford for me to stay home - DH's salary barely covers the mortgage, which leaves nothing for EVERYTHING else!!! I say WAIT - your time will come soon enough!!!
