That was important to us and also that our Ped was affiliated with the hospital near our home as well.

They are a 40 min drive from our house; 20 min drive from daycare. But they are the best in the area, so its worth it.

thank you for all of your responses! i will probably go with the doctor that is 20 minutes away, after i call the office and ask a few questions and everything. i just keep hearing so many wonderful things about her! (dr. tomei)

Their office is about 10 minutes from my house. While there were other pediatricians who had closer offices to my home, I went with the one I liked the best.

Mine is like 5 minutes from my house. I was looking into another one that was almost 25-30 minutes away and even my OBGYN suggested that that was too far away. Looking back on it, I LOVE that they are so close!

in walking distance now. We just switch earlier this year. We tried for a long time, but he wasn't accepting new patients. Before that, it was about 20-30 minutes away, depending on traffic and it wasn't too bad since I really never had sick visits. Just well visits. But being so close to home is much nicer now.

IF its the same Dr Tomei at Northshore Med on 25A, she is wonderful. I went to her when I was a teenager (after my old ped passed away) and my sister and brother went to her as well. She was kind, caring, and just wonderful. Wish I could find a GP that was as good!

Our new pediatrician is half a block away from our new apt. We can walk there in 2 minutes.
Our last pediatrician was a 10 minute drive from our old house.

My ped is about a 10 minute drive. Knowing what I know now, I would drive up to 20 minutes.

About 20 minutes.. because I trust him and that's more important than the distance. Plus he's right near the hospital - which is where I'd be headed in an emergency.
