Ours is about 5 blocks away. It's nice because we can walk there, but I definitely would have picked someone that I needed to drive to if I liked that doctor better.

Ours currently is about 10 minutes away, once we move I don't plan on switching and they'll be like 20 minutes away which isn't bad for me...

I think 15-20 min is fine.
Ou ped is about 6 or 7 min from us.

Before I moved, my old Ped was 9 miles away, but it took me 30 to 45 mins in traffic... I had others I could walk to, but I didn't like them. It was annoying, but I preferred the doc so much better.
Checking out the new doc on Thurs, and it should only be about 10 to 15 mins.

thank you for all of your responses! i will probably go with the doctor that is 20 minutes away, after i call the office and ask a few questions and everything. i just keep hearing so many wonderful things about her! (dr. tomei)

IF its the same Dr Tomei at Northshore Med on 25A, she is wonderful. I went to her when I was a teenager (after my old ped passed away) and my sister and brother went to her as well. She was kind, caring, and just wonderful. Wish I could find a GP that was as good!

Mine is 20 minutes and it's not a problem at all. Even when he was really sick. But, we do get in right away and never have to wait because it is a smaller and really well run practice.
