Home renovations while preggo...
SUCK!
My DH waited until I am 7 months preggo to decide to re-do all 3 bathrooms in our house. OMG there is dust everywhere. The house is a mess.
Doesn't he know that I am nesting and need things neat and organized?

Us too Jenn!!!!! But we started in Feb and the house is still not done yet....and I'm due in 5 weeks  I just know this kid is coming sooner too. All my baby stuff is at my mom's b/c I dont want dust and stuff all over it. It really does suck big time.

On the bright side, at least it'll be done (hopefully) before baby gets here!
I was hoping we could tackle a couple in house projects before our baby arrives. We are putting it off until this Fall and the baby will be 2-3 months old.

Us too...we have major renovations going on inside and out..I can't wait for them to be complete. I hate sheet rock dust!!!

We did it too. We were supposed to start earlier, but because the garage doors were delayed, we didn't start until I was 8months. We finished about 2 weeks before my due date. Fortunately the work was being done downstairs so that cut down on the sheetrock dust, but it still managed tgo find its way upstairs.

We are just starting to build a condo and it's already a nightmare. I'm thinking I will be homeless when the baby gets here. Not to mention just stopping by and being around the dust and fiberglass insulation crap. It makes me feel so sick

totally!!! we just got must of the floors on the first floor of our house refinshed and it still stinks! i've been sleeping on the couch and i'm dying over here!

US TOO...It started about a month ago and we gutted our entire upstairs (all the bedrooms and a bathroom) and the Attic. All of our clothes ect...are sitting in our living room/dinning room and we are sleeping on couches in the basement with the dog!!!! I am 7 months pregnant and sleeping on a couch - did I mention it is not a sofa couch- is killing my back and hips!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are hoping to be done by June 1st but I truly dont know how much more of this I can take. I feel bad for DH since he is doing sooooo much of the work and I can't really help too much but between the sleeping arangements, the dust, the men in and out of the house all day and night and just the general chaos, I AM DONE

Same here! We had our bathroom done. It was finished about a month ago, but DH keeps doing these little things so nothing is every really completed. He painted the bathroom, but is such a perfectionist it is taking him forever. And then when I though the baby's room was done, he covered everything up and decided he wanted to do touch-ups. I need to have this done this weekend. My house is a disaster and it needs to be put back together. It drives me mad but I try not to push him too much because he is working so hard on it and I can't do anything to help.

I had no KITCHEN from about 6 months pregnant to after DS was born. Finally had a "working" kitchen when he was about 2 months old......cabinets in my living room, kitchen contents in my dining room.
I had one room in my house that wasn't part of construction, I felt like a prisoner.
I feel your pain, it is so stressful........hang in there, it's all for the greater good...

home reno's are HORRIFIC! I cant imagine how it's going to be when we start the nursery... I'm going to LOSE IT!
We did ALOT of reno's, UN-PG, and I was a disaster 
Just keep the final outcome in mind.. I keep trying to get DH to start up reno on our biggest bathroom for  so it has a new tub to bathe in 
So consider yourself & lucky for new clean bathrooms
