Great question I am in a similar boat as you..hoping for a vbac but have c section scheduled for 40 weeks because they won't let me go longer! I have nothing to compare it to though because my twins were very early!
I'm getting soooooooo excited and these posts have made me really wonder!

My water broke at exactly 39 weeks with DS (DC 1)
I went into labor at exactly 39 weeks (to the day) with DD (DC 2).

Later
DC1 - three days before EDD but I was induced. (Regular contractions at my 40 week appt and sent me in for pitocin)
DC2 - 10 days past EDD. Went into labor right before my scheduled induction.
DC3 - not here yet (31.5 weeks) but I've been contracting a LOT more this time. Hopefully I don't go late!

38w 2.5 hrs of labor with #2

DS #1 was born 42w2d on my own
DS #2 was born 32w5d on my own, labor started prematurely & we could not get it under control.
