Moms of 2 or more................
After baby #1, did your subsequent children make their arrival earlier than the first? Or did you just deliver on time?
With my DD my water broke at 39 weeks and while I know every pregnancy is different, I'm just wondering if DS might make an even earlier appearance than she did. Everyone keeps saying that they think DS will be here early but who knows. I'm just wondering............what was your experience?

With my first DD my water broke the night of my due date (labored for 19 hrs and ended in c-section) and with my second DD, I went up to my scheduled c-section date which was just 3 days before my due date.

I was induced at 41 weeks with DD1 and went into labor on my own at 39 weeks with DD2

DS#1 was 41w3d (took castor oil under direction of midwives)
DS#2 arrived 3d after midwife EDD (but right on time according to TCOYF)
DS#3 arrived right on EDD
DS#2, 3 -- I was contracting for WEEKS before delivery. Went into full labor in early morning hours (3-4am), took a shower, went to hospital, delivered both by 9am.

With DD#1 - was induced at 12 days past my due date...she arrived by c-section on the next day
With DD#2 - my water broke 9 days before my due date

I was 15 days early with my 1st ds and my second was born on his actual due date. Those last 15 days drove me crazy because I felt like he was late

DD # 2 I was induced one day after due date ( vaginal delivery with both)

Thanks ladies. As I suspected, I guess it can really go either way. 
Part of me wants DS to make an early appearance but then the other part of me feels like I could use extra time to get ready for him. I have GD again, although not nearly as bad as I did with my DD, so I know at the latest he will be here by 40 weeks since they won't let me go past my due date.
I am trying for a VBAC (had a scheduled C-section with my DD due to size even though my water broke) so I am hoping my water breaks again and I go into labor. They won't induce me and if he isn't here by 40 weeks it's a definite C-section.
Guess only time will tell.

I had scheduled c-sections with both girls and never had anything happen before either of them - no contractions, nothing.
DD#1 - 4 days before due date
DD#2 - 5 days before due date

I don't have 2, but my mom does LOL. With me she was induced 12 days after the due date and my sister came RIGHT on time.

Both kids were born the same exact number of weeks (38+). But, holy cow was the 2nd labor insanely faster than the first!

Nope. They were both born exactly 10 days before my due date. First labor was easier than then second but the second recovery was much smoother than the first one. With my second, I literally felt like I could get up and go home five minutes after I gave birth. I felt great. Both were delivered vaginally.

Dd1 born 16 days early, dd2-4 days early via scheduled csec. Dr said she probably would have stayed another week or so.

Went into labor at 37 weeks w the twins- and it was fast! Had them on the parkway
So don't wait w the second!
