Mommy confessions

Anybody have any mommy confessions?! Let everyine know they're not alone

I have a bunch I'm sure...I will come back and edit

Some days when i try to get dd to nap and realize she's not going to I still leave her in the crib, if she's not crying, so I can have a few minutes to myself.

Food that falls on the floor is fair game if it's in my house. And the floors were just cleaned. Obvi if it's outside or in public no go

We are all healthy and happy so who cares is my motto!

There are also days where nobody gets out of pajamas. Like today for example.

I am pregnant with #2 and I use it all the time as an excuse...."Mommy needs to rest..." Which is true like half the time. Chat Icon

I did that too when I was pregnant with dd2. Now dd1 always says mommy relax. I would always say Mommys relaxing.

Pretty much the same except we only have cats.
And we all eat like shit.
And she gets snacks in the morning sometimes.
And we aren't so diligent with teeth brushing.
And she watches a LOT of TV.
And I drink a lot.

Re: Mommy confessions

I do not brush my toddler's teeth every morning. At this point it's roughly 5/7 days. I'm just thrilled if I make sure to brush my own.

My kid used to eat dog food if I wasn't paying attention and I really didn't care.

I was exited when ds was old enough to get mommy a beer out of the fridge. Chat Icon

I am super excited that my younger one is starting kindergarten, while other moms are crying that their values are growing up. That means I will have 7.5 hours a day to go to the gym, go food shopping, clean, cook, get my nails done, etc.... Woohoo!Chat Icon

Mommy confessions

Today was DD's first day of daycare and really the first time I was away from her for an extended period of time since she was born. After dropping her off and walking out of the building childless, I felt this incredible sense of freedom and then felt incredibly guilty, but then went to the Starbucks drive thru, treated myself to a fattening whipped cream beverage and felt better!
