Let's talk stretch marks...
Is anyone getting them in places other than their belly????
I (knock on wood) haven't gotten any on my belly yet.... but I have just about a million on my freakin TUSH!
HELP ME! Is there anything I can do?
(Maybe stop eating all of the things from my "dear" post? haha)

Nothing you can do about stretch marks they are heriditary. I didn't get them untile 37 weeks with my last pregnancy.

Re: Let's talk stretch marks...
Oh Hayley. Yes. My boobs. My sides. None on my belly. My thighs.
Is there plastic surgery to remove them?
I am going to hold this over Miss Bean's head when she is older and gets snotty to me!
I got the bio oil and I use a ton of Bath and Body Works Cream. But I think they are hereditary. Not much you can do. I think the Bio Oil fades them.

Re: Let's talk stretch marks...
Nothing worked for me. I lathered up with the stretch mark cream and still got A TON on my stomach. Oh and small one on my boob!! It's just inevitable if you are susceptible to them!!

I have not gotten any YET (knock on wood), but I also have not looked at my butt in months. I am afraid of what I will see.
Stretch marks are hereditary, BUT one thing you can do to help minimize them is hydration.
I so hope there is some sort of surgery to get rid of them. I already told my DH if my stomach does not go back to semi normal after I am done having kids I am getting a tummy tuck.

I didn't get a single one during my first pregnancy.
This pregnancy-completely different-I am getting them on my hips and thighs-a few are sprouting up on my belly and I even got a couple on my boob

Re: Let's talk stretch marks...
I got them on my hips last time - but not until later on. They disappeared fairly quickly - within 5-6 months PP I think?
I never bothered with creams, I don't really think they work

Re: Let's talk stretch marks...
i got some on my left butt cheek. Nothing too bad and you cant see it if i had a bathing suit or undies on.
but it was so weird that it was just that one side and nowhere else.
Im 3 weeks PP and my belly though is brown in color. im pale as a ghost yet my belly looks as if i tanned it. its the oddest thing...

Re: Let's talk stretch marks...
I didn't get a single one with my first son but this time, its a completely different story. I have a million on my boobs and some on my hips. They look horrendous! I just bought some bio-oil and I heard great things about Avon's stretch mark cream, going to try that next.

Re: Let's talk stretch marks...
I managed not to get anything major from my first pregnancy, but I noticed a small one on my hip this summer. I suppose I should be grateful it took me that long to notice... but at the same time, it took me that long to put on a bathing suit and lie out in full view of the public also.
I've already purchased my cocoa butter for this time around and now I'm putting it on my hips as well.

Re: Let's talk stretch marks...
1st pregnancy I had them on my breasts early on and then the last few weeks - they showed up on the underside of my belly.
Well, with this pregnancy at 22 weeks they are already starting to show up on my belly

Re: Let's talk stretch marks...
I was cursed with them in adolescence - I had them on my thighs, hips, boobs. Obviously they've faded now but I was so self conscious of them and still am.
I've been DREADING strech marks with pregnancy. I was doing okay until this week (36 weeks) and I've just noticed 3-4 very small ones on my lower stomach. I am terrified they're going to get huge as I grow over the next few weeks. I know it's so vain but I've already lived through them once in my life - is it too much to ask that I not have any this time?
And Katie, I'm with you. If my tummy looks like crap after kids (esp cause of stretch marks) I'm signing up for a tummy tuck too.

Re: Let's talk stretch marks...
That was me last time around- none on my belly, but it looked like a cat clawed my butt! I was so upset about them, but they really do fade. Now they are extremely light and barely noticeable. I also got a few on my boobs, but they also went from a 34B to a 36E. This time I haven't noticed any new stretch marks....yet.
