Can we talk stretch marks??
When i was 11 years old I hit a major growth spurt and and grew alot and ended up with stretch marks on my belly and around my belly button, over the years they have faded but now that I am 19 weeks pregnant, i have noticed they are started to turn red like they did when i first got them and are getting bigger. I have been using Palmer's Cocoa Butter for pregnancy stretch marks daily but it doesn't seem to be doing anything!
Is there anything else out there that I can try to slow down their progress or help with the ones i have already?? Im up for anything at this point. Obviously the Palmer's isn't doing anything, it's the only thing I have tried. What do you use and how are your stretch marks???

Re: Can we talk stretch marks??
theres all sorts of stuff. i use the palmers oil..but im only 9 weeks and mostly bloated right now.
my mother swore by Vitamin E oil. said she rubbed it on every day and nary a mark.
theres also expensive stuff like Strivectin i think its called, but i believe thats mucho denaro.
and i hear Mederma is supposed to be good as well.

Re: Can we talk stretch marks??
From everything I have read, stretch marks are genetic. If your mom had them, you will have them. Unfortunately my mom had them and YEP, now I do do too.
I've been told vitamin E for healing.

Re: Can we talk stretch marks??
I would try Mederma.
It works great for getting rid of stretch marks after you already have them.
