When a really "funky" song comes on in the car, DH does this crazy dance bobbing his head really fast and doing "jazz hands" all of the place. He does it just to crack me up and I love it!

He also makes this face where he tucks his lower lip over his bottom teeth and his upper lip on his upper gums and bobs his head back and forth and blinks really slowly. I giggle every time!

Sometimes at night when we're going to bed, he turns out the lights and starts doing this thing that makes me giggle with fear. He does the moves like when you're playing Mortal Combat and your guy is just 'still' and you're not moving him. He does this in the dark and I have no idea where he is and he just keeps getting closer and closer and I scream with fear/joy.

ETA: DH just called to tell me he's bringing me some Airborne because he knows I'm not feeling well and wants to make sure I don't get sick.

my DH is my best friend and soulmate

he has the cutest nicknames for me (my LIF user name is just one of them). he is honest, loving, supportive, caring and 100% genuine. everyone who meets him, loves him.

I thank God everyday for bringing him into my life. I am so lucky!!!!!!!! love you honey

eta: he tells me everyday, I can't sleep until we cuddle. we have to lay in bed cuddling every night, just holding each other until we fall asleep

Great thread!

For some reason unbeknown to me, DH has unlimited patience with me. He usually looses his cool quickly with friends, family members, coworkers etc. And when I ask him why he says, "Because you are the only love of my life". It makes me melt.

He's such a cornball so that must be why I keep him around.

I love his laugh also..its very hearty...but this man always, always puts me first..I sometimes almost feel undeserving..example...I work 13 hours shifts at night, he loves to cook so most of the time he will make me dinner to take to work..last night even though he was not feeling well at all, he made me a great dinner to take in with me ( i didnt know he was doing it or else I would say "go lie down") but he really floors me with his unconditional thoughtfulness of me...

My DH is everything I'm not - he completes me as a whole.

Hes the most genuine person I know.

I love when I'm doing my hair and make up at my vanity and everytime he walks past me, he will rub my back.

And when he thinks something is funny on TV he cracks up and has to rewind about 5 times and cracks up all over again each time.

And my all time favorite - watching him play with our neices!

love how he can tie up my son's hockey skates and teach him "the game", and then finish playing rough and tough, grab the nail polish and paint my daughters' nails

Oh forgot to talk about my man.

1st on Thanksgiving we had saved the wishbone to break together. So we did it late at night after everyone left and the wishbone broke perfectly evenly. We were both saying, what does that mean. So we decided it meant we would both get our wish. I said, What did you wish for. He said, That your wish would come true

Also he makes out with me about 5 times a day, he will grab me, kiss my neck and give me passionate kisses

Love him!

I love the way he melts when he sees our dd.....just that look in his eye when he holds her is enough to make my heart melt....he is such a great daddy

I love it when he wakes up our daughter and I hear him through the monitor. He says the cutest things to her.

I also love seeing him in his dirty uniform after work. It reminds me how hard he works and how cute he is

Ok - one more... I love he lays on the floor with DD and lets her climb and jump all over him. It's adorable!

i'm in the perfect frame of mind for this thread today!!

i've been away from vinny for five full days - five LONG days! i'm in another state for something career related and it has been hard but i did it and it just makes you realize how much you love and care for someone!

i can't wait to see him again - it's like we're dating again! i haven't felt this giddy in a long time.

so, i love DH because of his amazing support during this whole week, the fact that he called me at least once every single day to say that he missed me and was thinking about me - and that he texted me with pics of our doggy!! lol!! that was the best he is so great - i'm so excited to see him!!

just a few more hours!!!

Nothing is better than seeing his face light up when we are with my god daughter. He falls to pieces. She has him wrapped around her finger.She is almost 3.
I LOVE how handy he is. He is pretty much self taught in everything he knows. He can take anything apart, fix it and put it back together. He amazes me sometimes.

I forgot one...

Watching my DH with our nephews is just priceless. Especially the newest addition who is now 12 weeks old. Whenever we go see him, he has to pick him up & give him kisses. Whenever he thinks no one is listening, he will have a conversation with him & just gaze at the baby. It brings me to tears everytime

there are so many... how to choose

he is super affectionate - no matter what i am doing he always comes up behind me to give me a hug

he doesn't mind PDAs in front of my family

he pretends to "hate" our cat but in reality he loves to pet and kiss and and call him cute little nicknames

he is ALWAYS taking care of me, even if it's something as silly as getting me a drink from the fridge (when in reality i am closer )

he doesn't mind if i text him 30 times a day about nothing - he does the same thing too!!

i think my abolute favorite is that he never gets tired of me, and always wants to hang out with me - he even threatened to stay home from going out to watch a football game because i said i wasn't in the mood to go!

there are tons more... but i don't want to take over this post

What a great thread!!! Our 2nd anniversary was over the weekend and DH found out that 2nd anniversary is china and cotton...He got me a gorgeous throw blanket with our names embroidered and a beautiful lenox holiday collectible plate...It just amazes me how thoughtful he is sometimes!

Can I chime in even though he's not technically my hubby?

I love how considerate he is of everything for me; If he's out and he's getting something to eat (even if I'm not hungry) he'll call and ask me if I want something. He can read my moods and knows when I need a hug, a backrub or some space. He's always-always doing for me/putting me 1st and I have never had that before

My DH works Sat - Mon 12am to 1pm. So once a week on his off day he keeps Damien home with him and they go to the bagel store, the movie store, and the park. It is Damien's high point of the week and he makes me count down how many days till it's his day with his "Best Buddy" My DH and son have such an amazing relationship. I couldn't ask for a better father for my children

DW loves me because I'm, smart, I put DW and DC before anything else, I help out DW as much as I can, I play and dance with DC, and I'm just awesome...

Very Sweet thread!!

I love my DH for tons of reasons. I’m constantly laughing when I’m around him; he just always cracks me up.

I find it so incredibly amazing how he literally took our house, gutted it throughout….and did massive renovations with no help whatsoever. Of the years I known him, I can’t remember one thing he can’t fix or build. I find it amazing how much he knows.

He is also a great cook and he is adorable around my little cousins. He is just so cute with them and they love him just as much so I can’t wait to see him with his own child.

He is a hard worker and truly a sincere human being…….and he is the best to cuddle and hug with……he's like a big bear

Besides my DH being my best friend, he makes me breakfast every morning, does the dishes without me asking, holds the door open for me wherever we go and still after 4 years of being together can walk around a corner and when I see him I still smile. There is still a spark when we kiss and of course when he hugs me and holds me in his arms all the stress of the day seems to go away. I don't know what I would do without him. I can't wait to have children with him because I know he is going to be a great Dad and husband.
