Do you ever get alittle creeped out by how many views a picture post has but with so little responses

im starting to think i shouldnt post as many pics

either DS isnt as cute to everyone else or some people are looking at him toooo much

does anyone else feel this ???

Yes and no! I rarely post pics of DS though so I feel sometime people don't relate as much when I post. I would just post that he is 5 months old or had his ped visit... not too many people respond. And that's OK! I am still a proud mama.

I don't get creeped, but sometimes I get mad.

When I see someone who posts a picture and has 3 pages of responses, then someone else who posted at the same time who has 10 responses, it really annoys me.

I always try to respond to the picture threads. But when it's not reciprocated, it's a little annoying. And then when it happens consistently, I just .

I thought that way to, but its a public forum and you don't have to be a member to view posts, I feel the parenting board should be like the relationship bored, you can't see it unless your a member!

ok, I don't mean to scare anyone, but after I had my son I had an orderly who worked at the hospital where I work tell me that he saw my picture on a website of me holding my son when he was 1 day old,he was trying to compliment me in saying that I looked great, but it freaked me out, who else is looking? I look at everyone's pictures but in the past I never responded. I used to think that if I was only going to say that the pictures are great, and everyone else said that already, why respond? But now that I am posting my pictures, I see how a mom wants lots of responses!!!!!

I do not know why some people get so many responses and others do not. Actually, I noticed that more back in the LIW days than I do on the parenting board.

Yes which is why over time I've posted pictures less and less. Anyone can look at this board and I almost hate that. I know we've asked to make the Parenting board like the Relationship board but then again anyone can create a screen name and look.

Honestly, this not only happens with picture posts... I've posted plenty of things in the past, and it gets soooooooo many views, but a very small amount of responses.

And I don't think that it has anything to do with your baby... He's such a cutie!!!!!!

Nah, sometimes I look at everyones kids, but I can only write "so cute" so many times. Know what i mean, also, don't forget everyone from every other board is coming around here to have a gape also!

Sometimes I feel like that too...but I still post pics if I want I just posted another picture so we'll see what happens I think people get sick of replying the same thing over and over again and if other people have already responded they figure they dont have to.

I only posted 2 times with pics of my dd so far, and that happened. I was scared to post pics at all, then i decided why not and got freaked out about that, so i deleted them.

honestly, I do not get upset or even notice how many people respond or don't...I would not take it personal.

Usually after a dozen or so or posts, I don't bother adding the same comment. I've been doing it more now then at first, since I'm starting to see why everyone likes the responses.

I also often click in the same thread multiple times. With a few dozen "Here's photos of DC" threads, I'm going to forget which ones I just looked at, and look at them again.

I'll try to post more comments from now on....

Nah, it doesnt bother me. I post an occasional pic to share with everyone without expecting every mommy or daddy on here to post about it. I know we are all busy, Im just happy to see that the post was viewed- b/c thats why I posted it.

I know there are lurkers- so in a few days I delete them but give enough time so that the ladies and gents on here get to see.
I am guilty of opening up post and pic posts and having to run away from the computer and not leaving a response.

I love to see LIF children they are all so cute!
