Lets have a "love my hubby" post

Im in a good mood (no hubby bashing on this thread )

so I just wanted to start a fun post.

What's something cute, great, fun that your husband does, that makes him who he is.

I'll start.
something reallly simple, but it just came to mind for me to type this post.

he's watching something on tv and he belts out these big-kid belly laughs.
SOOO CUTE.
I feel like one of my kids is laughing.

His laughter is as heartfelt and contagious as a child. HE's usually the one on the floor when we watch a funny movie, while im like "hah, cute"


so thats my corny start..love his goofy loud laughter

Watching my husband totally screw up nursey rhymes to our 5 month old. She has no idea and just squeals at the funny voices and faces he makes.....

"First you roll it, then pat it.........and you put it in a pan!" (DH's version of "Baker's Man").

heh, when he says 'come here come here come here' and makes me watch one of his new computer games, and describes in depth why the graphics are 'so cool'

I slowly slink away to watch food tv, he says 'hey, where are you going? Lets play portal together!'


I just appreciate that he'll help me cook even on days like today, when we're both sicker than #ell....

DH comes home from work, goes right past me, into the den and I hear "Daddy's home. I missed you little guy. How was your day?....OK,,I should go say Hi to mommy now, come on...Let's Go".

When he's watching a funny movie, Im upstairs and he laughs so loud I hear him as if he's in the room with me.
He's so laid back, Its fantastic. He's totally a "Whatever" kind of guy. Im usually the one doing the flipping out.

love how he can tie up my son's hockey skates and teach him "the game", and then finish playing rough and tough, grab the nail polish and paint my daughters' nails

I love my hubby 'cus he's the BEST smelling man on the planet. I know, it's weird, but he's really well-groomed and exudes a really yummy and masculine scent.

Of course, I also love him 'cus he's so damn smart, handsome, generous and funny. He's also the kind of guy who is the ultimate good samaritan - he'll help total strangers w/o regard for his own safety.

My DH works Sat - Mon 12am to 1pm. So once a week on his off day he keeps Damien home with him and they go to the bagel store, the movie store, and the park. It is Damien's high point of the week and he makes me count down how many days till it's his day with his "Best Buddy" My DH and son have such an amazing relationship. I couldn't ask for a better father for my children

DH has a nickname for me and he'll change words to songs and sing them to me with little stories about me and my nickname.

He knows that I'll spend money on anything else but myself so if he knows I need something, he'll make sure I get it. He's forcing me to go to DSW this weekend to look for a good pair of winter shoes because I don't have any.

Although I'm capable, he won't let me lift anything I don't have to.

He'll wake up early, go get an egg sandwich and coffee from the deli and wake me up for breakfast.

He cleans the bathroom without complaint because he knows I have a hard time with chemical fumes and my asthma. And because I hate doing it.

There's a million little things. What it comes down to is that he's my best friend and after 8 years, I still stop to look at him and feel a surge of love.

He's this big kid and he actually likes spending time with ME!!! ME! Whoda thought there was someone out there who would be happy spending sitting on the couch with me and rub my ugly feet??? And still be completely and utterly in bliss!

My DH is the most giving caring person. I had an absolute horrible day today...total pity party...and DH is waiting by the door for me. He grabs my pocket book takes off my coat and leads me to the bedroom. On the bed he laid out my pj's and slippers. I come back outside and he set up the chinese food he ordered in with little tea candles on the table

DH comes home from being the sole supporter for our family and becomes the best daddy. From the moment he walks through the door with the "DADDYS HOME" from the kids he is their playmate while I get a kid break for the day. He snuggles them in bed. He plays football in the house letting the kids be the quarterback. He even takes Jeremy to work some days so I can get things done.

OK here's my corny add on to this post

This morning Joe got home first and gave Daisy, our kitten, her pain meds. She was spayed on Monday...anyway he was trying to calm her down and called her Kitty Kitty Lumpkins. Now thats all he is calling her and gets this big goofy smile on his face. It's sooooooooo cute and she LOVES it because she runs to him and starts purring.

i love that he is such a great daddy.

I also love how he brings me flowers, or sends me a love note for no reason whatsoever.

The most important reason why i love him is because his love has been so strong for me, that he gave me a second chance and came back home.

Oh forgot to talk about my man.

1st on Thanksgiving we had saved the wishbone to break together. So we did it late at night after everyone left and the wishbone broke perfectly evenly. We were both saying, what does that mean. So we decided it meant we would both get our wish. I said, What did you wish for. He said, That your wish would come true

Also he makes out with me about 5 times a day, he will grab me, kiss my neck and give me passionate kisses

I love my DH for so many reasons. One of the things that I love the most about him is his smile. He has the infectious smile. I can be having a craptacular day and l'll look over at him and he will give me that smile and forget what ever it was that was making me mad.

I love to hear DH laugh when he is watching another re-run of Seinfeld. His laughter is so genuine that you would honestly think it was a kid.

He is a trooper, he comes home from working VERY long hours & still goes directly to the sink after dinner to do the dishes

My DH works crazy hours at work & then comes home to watch our DD during the day & work on our new home.

DH also comes up w/ the cutest nicknames for me & baby & also changes words to songs for us

DH takes the time to do all the service on my car to save $$

DH does so much of the cleaning in our house (laundry, floors, bathroom, etc.) & a lot of the cooking

DH gives the greatest hugs & "towel service" in the bathroom

I love coming in from work & seeing him on the couch w/ baby feeding her & talking softly to her

My Dh always puts my needs first

He Loves to cook

When I'm stressed he does whatever he can to make my plate less full.

I love when he gets on the floor and plays with the dogs, its so cute, and makes me look forward to one day he will do this with our chidren

I love the funny nicknames he gives the dogs and myself when I do something or say something silly.

I love when he laughs

and I love when he sleeps, he looks so cute and just so peaceful.
