No, holding out but we are using our ceramic heaters in our bedrooms at night.

Re: is your heat on yet?

I actually turned mine on this morning as it was only 43 degrees when I got up. I don't like being cold and just an hour of it on warmed up the house.

Re: is your heat on yet?

We tend to need it in the AM and overnight, but if it's sunny-- may even need AC during the day!

Re: is your heat on yet?

I just caved and put it on, my house was reading 65 . It felt thru the bones chilly. I am wearing sweats, and a long sleeve shirt, and slipper socks, and I was cold, and I am never cold!

turned the heat on last night!

I was trying to hold out; but it was CHILLY! DH said he was sweating through the night; but i felt comfortable. Maybe tonight we'll try it w/no heat. We have balanced billing so i figured we're paying for it anyway. However if we hold out as long as we can would that mean our bill will go down next year if they see we're not using it as much?

I am not sure what balanced billing has to do with it? Balanced billing is just a monthly average of what they THINK you will use. You still pay exactly what you use. If you use more than they think you will use, you will get an adjustment bill. If you use less, you will get an adjustment credit. You still pay for it.

Re: is your heat on yet?

just turned mine on to get the chill out of the house right now. It has come on by itself overnight a few times when the outside temps dipped under 40!
