How old was your child when you stopped using a stroller?

Baby #2 is on the way Dd will be a little over three when baby arrives.

We currently have an orbit baby stroller and it's expensive to add the parts to make it a double stroller. Originally, we thought we'd have kids closer in age.

Is three too old to be sitting in a stroller? There is a kickstand option to add to the stroller which I am leaning towards which is cheaper.

Doesn't help that my dd is super tall for her age so I'm sure some people think she's like a kindergartener now!

you can't go by me but DD stopped using it at like 2. She was never a fan of it and just preferred walking with her older sis.

I'm in the same exact position as you. DS will be 3 in March and baby #2 is due in June. The last few times I've tried to get DS into the stroller, it was a nightmare. I've given up.

My oldest DD was around 2, I guess. She hated the stroller! She was 20 months when her sister was born; I did buy the Sit and Stand, but rarely used it...mostly she would walk holding onto the Snap & Go stroller.

My middle was done at age 3; she was 3.5 when her little brother was born and never used it again...probably used it last 4 mos before his birth.

My kids are 1.5 yrs apart.

DD (the younger) stopped using the stroller before 2.
DS (the older) stopped at 3.

They stopped at the same time: it was the summer & we just never went back.

I liked a double stroller when both were under 2 (I got an inexpensive one that is side by side)... but they can REALLY walk at a young age (we've done Bronx zoo all day & Disney without a stroller). I think it's good exercise & I trained them both to hold my hand.

The only problem is, even now, if they see a stroller, they like to fight on who gets to go on a "ride".

If it helps: in the beginning, I preferred to take the younger one in a baby bjorn/ergo. The older one would walk. That bought us a half a year.

She's 4 and I still use it- only for walks around the neighborhood though because sometimes I just want to get some exercise and she walks too slow to walk next to me!

DD is almost 3 and the only time that she'll use it is if I am going to be in a busy place, like the mall or someplace where there is a ton of walking. For food shopping and errands, she likes to sit in the cart.

DS still sits in the stroller for walks around the neighborhood and he's 2.5. He will have just turned 3 when this LO comes and I plan on getting a kickstand for my uppababy. I also plan on getting a baby carrier and just wearing the infant and pittingDS in the stroller if needed.
And for big trips like the zoo, etc. I will likely be with DH so we will just bring an umbrella and our uppababy with us.

My kids are 4.5 yrs apart, up until my DS was born my DD still liked to use her stroller occasionally. We ended up getting a Sit n Stand for certain outings because even now (at age 6) she still gets tired if there is a lot of walking involved like a day in the city, the mall, or vacation. I'm glad I have it.

I guess it really depends on the kid, my DD was a real stroller lover so it made sense for us to have one she could use even after the baby was born.

My DD is 2.5 and we put her in the stroller if we go to the mall or somewhere there are a lot of people. She's a BIG girl, so I don't think she'll be in it that much longer. She looks sort of silly in it now

Depends on where we're going. We used it at the Bronx Zoo for his 4th birthday. Usually to the mall, no. But I ask every time just in case. That's the umbrella stroller. For walks around the neighborhood, he usually still likes to go in the big stroller and observe.

DS is 2 and he's always wanting to walk now. It's a struggle to get him into the stroller, but he'll sit in it if we take walks. I'm expecting #2 in the spring and plan on getting a double stroller in the hopes that DS will sometimes give me a break and sit!

DD is 3.5 and we still use it here and there. Mostly for large crowded areas and long walking trips. Plus I like having some place to put my bag and stuff, hate carrying a bag around!

Our kids will be just over 2 yrs apart. We have a double and a sit-stand that are hand me downs. If we didn't have those I don't think I'd spend the money. We a have a city mini and and umbrella stroller if we go somewhere we need strollers it's easy to bring 2. You can also always wear the infant and out the older one in stroller if you had to...

My DS will be just shy of 3 when this LO arrives but I do like to take walks around the neighborhood when its nice out, so I'll most likely still be using one for him for a little bit. I am planning on borrowing my sister's double stroller since she is done having kids but if not I probably would have gotten one for not too much $ off of a FB buy/sell group.

DS loved his stroller. i think he used it until he was 4. but that was only if we went crowded places or anywhere he would have to walk a lot. he had a fear of being around a lot of people so the stroller was his safety net. he's almost 5.5 now and probably doesnt even remember being in a stroller.

My boys are 3.5 years apart. We bought a sit and stand and it was perfect. DS1 will sill ride in it at 6 if we go somewhere with a lot of walking.

I think DD has officially stopped using it. She will be 4 in April. I'd say she stopped using it a couple months ago. I did however buy the City Select for when new DD is due in April. I got it for walks. I also found it for a great price so I couldn't resist. Also I know my older DD, when she sees new DD in the stroller she will want to sit in it too. I think I'm going to get the standing board that goes with it.

My DS is 2. (He was 18 months when the baby was born). I don't even know why I spent money on a double stroller...we never use it.

My twins are 4 and my singleton is 2.5. All three still use a stroller. The twins walk a lot more now when we go out but they get tired quickly and start wining for me to pick them up because their legs hurt. So if I know we are going to be walking a lot they sit in their double stroller.

My DD is 3.5 and I still use it for long walks or busy areas. If we go into the city, walks to the park, walks around the mall etc... I actually love it for the mall because it holds my bags, I am going to be sad when she gives it up totally.

DS is 3 and we barely use it and really haven't for a while. We use it for vacations and if we are going to be in the city and walking a lot. But I never take it to the store etc.

My kids stopped using it around 2.5(I have twins) I did borrow a double jogger for Disney when they were 4 because they did not have enough stamina to walk Disney all day and night
