How old was your DC when you stopped using the stroller?
When DS was 3 DD was 1 so I used the double stroller for them. DD will be 3 in a few weeks and I find we occasionally use the stroller for her (i.e. at the Bronx Zoo) but not as much at the mall. How much longer did you still use a stroller? Did you just use it for big trips at this age, cut it out all together, or still use it most of the time? Thanks.

DS is 3 1/2. We pretty much stopped completely except for trips. We took the stroller to Dutch Wonderland, and will take it into the city for Fresh Beat Band. Other than that we don't use it at all.

DD is turning 4 in just two weeks and she still likes to get in the stroller sometimes. She poops out at the mall or if we're running around all day. And if we're on vacation and running around theme parks all day she NEEDS her stroller, she likes to take breaks and rest.

DS is only 2 and we hardly ever use it unless we travel or we are going to be out all day like a Zoo. Even when we go to the mall, we never bring it in with us he walks next to us and holds our hand.
We keep it in the car just incase though.

Re: How old was your DC when you stopped using the stroller?
We sort of took it away at 1 and a half.
I saw no reason a child who could walk should be sitting in a stroller. If she got tired, we held her or left.
We use the stroller at amusement park and airports for the comfort of everyone.
If you can walk, we walk. I'll be darned if I drag my kiddo all over the sun at her convenience. haha You want to go there, you walk kiddo.
For me walking is good. Its excerise, it builds her endurance, her muscle and gives her a way to burn off energy. it gave her practice at balance and agility.
I keep a stroller, yes. Just a cheap umbrella stroller that I can abuse. She rarely ever gets to see it. I can say by 20m she stopped seeing it at all. We had moved to our new house and we sort of lost it LOL.

DS will be 4 in December. We haven't used the stroller on a regular basis in a while. I will put him in the sit and stand when I take both boys for walks around the neighborhood.

DS will be 3 in December. He only gets in the double stroller now when it's just me with both kids or if we're going someplace with a lot of walking (like the zoo or Disney). Otherwise, he walks.
