Do u have a garbage can in your bathroom?
Just curious. My parents never had them in the bathrooms in their house. We do. Wondering if most people do?

In all bathrooms. Where do you put garbage without one? Tissues shouldn't go in the toilet, and there's cotton balls, q-tips, emptied containers (that aren't recyclable, of course...), etc.

growing up, never had one.
in all my apartments, never had one.
it wasn't until people on LIF complained about people who DON'T have them in their bathroom that I went out and bought them.

No, never have and don't plan on it. Ewwwww, just gross thinking about what someone might throw in there. Toilet paper or tissues can go in the toilet. Qtips, cotton balls, etc I wrap up in a tissue that I then throw out in the main garbage.

definitely... always! I am not gonna walk around the house with qtips, contact lens containers, cotton balls and wrapped up femine products! DH dumps all the litle garbages into the kitchen bag every garbage night before he takes the garbage out.

yup - small ones in each bathroom. I empty them out pretty much every other day. I couldn't imagine holding my floss, feminine hygiene products, q-tips ,etc. and taking them to the main garbage.

Yes, we have a small one in the bathroom. We replace the plastic bag in there once it's full. I would definitely NOT want my guests to carry their used sanitary items to my kitchen garbage.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. I would think having to carry any used feminine product out of the bathroom is a lot worst and uncomfortable.

Worse yet, what if they don't know what to do with them, so to avoid embarrasment they flush them!
Now you have septic issues to worry about.

I've actually never encountered a bathroom that DIDN'T have a garbage. I can't imagine realizing too late while holding my used feminine product in a friend's home.
It might be gross to think about what's collecting in the garbage, but all garbages host gross things, including whatever other garbage you would be using to throw away the bathroom trash. We take ours out right after our last guest leaves.

100% you need a garbage in your bathrooms, my guests use my bathrooms and sometimes they have AF, they use panty liners or pads sometimes as well as plastic applicators
I would flip if they flushed that stuff down my toilet, because i know the damage and the amount of money it costs to fix
I would never want my guests to walk holding their feminine products to put in the kitchen garbage
Also tissues should not be flushed, at least in my house they are not, and not paper towels either

very unsanitary walking around with some of those items, better to just disinfect the little cans every so often
