Bathroom sets: What purpose does the "tumbler" serve?
What is this thing for? I keep Q tips in it.
Is that correct? What are you supposed to do with it?

As a kid I used to use it for water (to rinse after brushing my teeth). Now I put the little paper dixie cups in the tumbler and it serves as as cup dispenser.

Yes, it's supposed to be used for rinsing.

same here, then when I "grew up" and got my own bathroom tumbler I realized how unsanitary it was, now I put the little disposable cups in there. I also use it for rinsing my sons hair in the tub!

I never got one with my bathroom set....but I was tempted to buy it, since it "completes" the set.

I asked the question because it suddenly dawned on me that it really does look like a cup. Could this thing be used as a cup?
Knowing that it will never get washed, I've decided to keep using it as my Q tip holder

I use it for Q-tips also, but I like the idea of using it to hold dixie cups. I may have to start using it for that.

DH laughs at me because he cups his hands and fills them with water rinse. I don't know why he doesn't use the cups. They are right there!
