People CAN NOT figure out how to say my maiden name. It drove me crazy growing up!!!
It also has a very funny German translation that people get a kick out of!

Oh yeah! My name is always mispronounced.
I get Janie, Jamie, Jennie, Jeanie and in Junior HS, a moronic teacher called me Jannon- pronounce like the yogurt Dannon!!! 
Back on planet earth , My name is Janine. Pronounced Ja-neen

My REAL name is Jennie. I get called Jennifer, Jeanie, Janine... drives me bonkers!
Haaa....maybe you and I should just switch names.....seems that I get called your name and you get called mine

Oh yes, I forgot to mention my maiden name. That was royally butchered. It was Squire. I got Square, Swire, SQUIRREL (come on now!), Squeer. I'm glad my new last name is a lot easier!

When it comes to last name, my maiden name would get butchered. My married name gets some attention but it is easier to spell!

actually, my ex bf's brother called my Krystal for 7 years!!
...forget about my last name...it's long and italian

My first name never, but both my maiden and my married last name get mispronounced. My maiden name used to get butchered and I thought that would stop when I got married. My married name is soooo much eaisier.
