This is the same woman who freaks out if you wear your "street clothes" on top of your bed spread. In her house PJ's are only allowed on bed spreads. If not, those spreads are going right into the washing machine.

As for toilet seats - without a doubt - changed them!!!!
As for carpets, it was hardwood throughout on the main floor. The upstairs was carpeted, but we didn't have them cleaned because we just used them for storage and an office at the time. Now they are gone.

Toilet seats were all replaced.
Carpet was also replaced but it was ugly and in bad shape.

We changed the toilet seats and had the only carpet in the house (in the basement) cleaned professionally even though it looked very clean.

We changed the toilet seats immediately. And we didn't steam clean the carpets, but we vaccumed them really, really well.

Nope, I keep the toilet seat- my seller was super duper clean. I had too many other in my eyes more important things to spend my money on.
