Carters is designer?
I meant Gucci, Burberry, Juicy, Lily Pultzer, Seven, True Religion, R&R...
what is dennys?
ahhh...since you put it that way. No. I'm not a label wh*re so the names aren't important to me. I have bought some clothes from boutiques online. But he messes them up and grows out of them so quickly, now I only by him less expensive clothes.

The RL stuff is nice quality BUT some of the garments are hard to put on a real live moving baby

Re: Designer Baby clothes
See, she wears things 2 - 3 times and then outgrows them so to me, I don't care if the clothes can stand up to 100 washes, they'll never get there anyway.
It's all about comfort and ease for us - wash & wear, 100% cotton, snap or zip up front -- oh and all onesies or shirts have to have a big enough hole for her head!! Honestly some of them don't

DS had alot of RL outfits when he was younger. I didnt mind the buttons in the back. He looked so cute. Shopping for boy clothes is a nightmare.

Re: Designer Baby clothes
If they are playing in the park or hanging around at home-no way....but I do love to put them in designer clothes for special occasions...for this reason my DH is happy that we have boys-he knows how much $ he'd have to shell out if we had girls!

Re: Designer Baby clothes
My parents (well actually my dad) likes to buy DD guess, lily pulitzer, juicy and ralph lauren from time to time from Bloomies - I don't - but hey if they think something is cute and want to buy it for her - why not.
I usually go to L&T's, Nordstroms, carters and The rack. I buy the more practical stuff - from absorba, vitamin, little me, etc.

Re: Designer Baby clothes
They've only gotten them as gifts and I have to say, Abby's RL romper was one of my favorite outfits of hers last summer
I don't want to start a bad precedent by buying the girls these types of clothes now, because I sure as hell am not buying them when they're teenagers!!

Re: Designer Baby clothes
Spending $$$$ on baby clothes is pointless- they are going to spit up, throw up, poop on them, get food on them.. why waste the money??
I shop at Kohls and Target for the kids.

Not usually. I actually just bought her a Lilly Pulitzer dress for summer because it was so cute! But I bought in in 2T so it will fit her this summer and next.
She also has some RL but I tend to buy a lot of the stuff at the outlet.

I buy quite a bit of DD's clothes at Denny's, but usually when they are having a sale. If you can get to their end of season sales, its usually 50-80% off the entire store.
I am a HUGE Denny's fan. But, I will also buy her clothes at Once Upon A Child.
For Holidays and special events, I tend to go overboard.

Re: Designer Baby clothes
I am guilty of loving that happy mix of designer and high street stuff, I love H&M, but as my money goes sooo far, I love designer stuff, not like D&G or Dior, but Paul Frank, Junkfood, Ralph Lauren, Lacoste...love it.
