I buy both.
The designer names I buy only when they are reduced. I dont pay more then 30 dollars per outfit for dd UNLESS of course shes in a wedding.

Re: Designer Baby clothes

I buy quite a bit of DD's clothes at Denny's, but usually when they are having a sale. If you can get to their end of season sales, its usually 50-80% off the entire store.

Not usually. I'm kinda a tightwad. Chat Icon

I still usually get their stuff on clearance the year before. Figure I might as well while I can still get away with it.

Re: Designer Baby clothes

Nope. Carter's is about as fancy as it gets. I can't see spending that much money on things that get pooped, peed and spit up on. I do have a few Polo sweaters that were gifts.

Same here. She grows out of things soooo fast that it kills me to pay for designer clothes.

No. She wears Gap, Gymboree, Carter's and Children's Place as daily wear.

I will splurge on a cute outfit for a special occasion but it doesn't have to RL, Burberry etc.

Re: Designer Baby clothes

I received some designer stuff as gifts but I never bought anything other than a few Ralph Lauren things in TJMaxx and Marshalls.

When Sabrina was born, my mom's cousin who is a big shot architect and interior designer sent her a ton of Ralph Lauren, DKNY, and Calvin Klein stuff. My mom said he was the same person who sent me a Pierre Cardin dress when I was born (and Pierre Cardin was expensive and considered a designer name then)

Re: Designer Baby clothes

When you say designer do you mean Burberry or Gucci? Or do you mean stuff at Dennys? yes, I buy stuff at Dennys and other kids boutiques, but I try to limit it. It gets really expensive. I did find a few high end brands at Century 21. Did you know they sell True Religion, Seven Jeans and Joes Jeans for babies at Century 21? If DD wore jeans, I so would have bought her a pair!

Re: Designer Baby clothes

Denny's is a childrens clothing store with locations in Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk. I wouldn't say they were "designer", although I have gotten DD Juicy outfits from there. It is higher end brands though, websites like www.bestdressedkids.com and www.cutestbabyclothes.com carry most of the brands that Denny's does.
