i'm just going to use tide free or all free....whichever has no perfumes or dyes. dreft never took out the stains. and it is just way too expensive. i used the tide free for my 2nd DS and he was fine!

My MIL bought us a bottle of Dreft when DD was first born. It prob lasted a couple of months. After that we switched to All free and Clear. Soooo much less expensive and it's the same thing.

For DD we just used all free and clear, never used dreft. We'll do the same for this baby.

I use Seventh Generation for DS. I cannot stand the smell of dreft.

I will probably wash DS's clothes separate from ours (DH works with lots of dirty stuff), but I will use the same hypoallergenic stuff I use for our stuff (I can't use anything else, I'm sensitive).

I never used Dreft... no need to spend so much $$ on detergent when you can use Tide Free or All Free and Clear.

I used the one bottle of Dreft we got at my shower when DS was born....it was crap at getting out his spit up stains, and when I saw the price, it wasn't worth it. Now I use whatever Free and Clear detergent is on sale and all his clothes come out clean, which makes me happy. Chat Icon

With DD#1 I used Dreft b/c we received it at my shower. After we were done with it, we used plain old Tide that we always use. We will probably get a bottle or two of Dreft or the Target brand one for DD#2 and then switch over to Tide after it is all gone.

For all the baby's stuff we're using Dreft...I'm addicted to the smell. I have sensitive skin so for all regular laundry we use Purex.

I already use a detergent for sensitive skin for myself, but I am using Ivory Snow on Newtons things so far.

I just love the smell of it and as long as we can swing it, I will pay the extra for it.

I registered for one giant bottle of Dreft and received it for my shower...it's huge so I am sure it will last a while but after that, I will probably just go to Tide Free or something like that.

I use kirkland free and clear on my clothes and will use it on DC's clothes. Unless there is a problem with sensitivity I will never use Dreft.

I bought tide free. I had a bottle of dreft on my registry and it came off as purchased but I never got it from anyone.

My DC is 14 months old and we still only use Dreft on her clothes. I looooove the smell. If it was cheaper I'd wash my own clothes in it,LOL.

I'm kind of loving Dreft right now..who knows, maybe I will switch when the baby gets a little older, but as for right now I'm going to stick with Dreft...it just smells so good!
