Ok ladies sorry I've been bad at posting my diary, I've been bad at putting in MFP. This week I did meal plan of snacks, two shakes - breakfast and dinner, sensible lunch. Prepping lunch meals on Monday for the week helped me. I did have green tea lattes unsweetened with skim milk.

Lunches:
Monday - salad with tuna
Tuesday - meat loaf cauliflower mash
Wednesday - Katie Courics lemon chicken with asparagus and roasted squash & zucchini
Thursday - turkey burger with lettuce tomatoes ketchup & mayo in between portabella mushroom caps

Friday - fruit salad and Asian salad with carrots sauce,
This was catered lunch from my job.

Friday dinner: home chef shrimp with brown rice - it was a cool service and fun to cook something different.

Some of these I may have posted. Two days I did do Greek egg whites with spinach and feta cheese for breakfast with roasted tomatoes. Snacked oh tea, kind bars and some utz pretzels.

I did 45 minutes of kickboxing Tues - Thursday, worked out at home Sunday for 50 minutes doing a kickboxing video Verizon has on demand.

I did have a beer yesterday and two lychee martinis at work.. The peer pressure on Fridays is so hard.

I weighed myself this morning and was 127.6 - down 10lbs. I'm excited but nervous since I will be going to Cali for a week next week. I feel like I finally got my mojo with eating right and exercising and here comes a vacation to screw it up. I know #firstworldproblems Chat Icon LOL

Weighed in this AM
Up 1.6 lbs

I can't even be mad. I stayed on track 5 days of the week for the past 3 weeks. The days off were DAYS OFF. Eating without thinking.

I have definitely gained more muscle. My arms and shoulders are more defined.

Back on track Monday. Going to keep on track for 2 weeks. Then jump off for the weekend for our 5th anniversary

Then it's game on again. DH is ready to get moving too. Which is a HUGE help to me. Less crap in the house. He's waiting on nice weather so we can walk a few miles in the AM together and then come in and start the old T-25 DVDs we used to do. He lost 25 lbs doing that once before. It'll be a nice change in my routine too. I think my body needs a change


I know a lot of us have slowed down and fell off the wagon - and that's ok. Ya gotta live. But let's regroup and get back on track again!! Let's pretend Monday is January 1st again. Go back to that mind set

I did start walking. Friday, I walked to the grocery store and the five and dime :)

Soo I fell short of my goal by 7 lbs....ugh

Those that are friends with me on MFP, that pic was me 7 lbs lighter which was where I wanted to be for Sunday. Oh well I'll keep trying for the summer.

I've still gained 4 lbs since feb 1st.... cant seem to kick these pounds..

I got Jillian Michael's 8 week program bodyshred. it is really hard. I am in the middle of week 3 but haven't seen any progress in terms of weight loss. I think it is making me stronger though. I can see a little bit more muscle definition. but overall, disappointed so far.

I am determined to finish it out though.

Still need to do my 30 min cardio.

I find if I dont get my exercise done before 9am, I just dont want to do it... Chat Icon Chat Icon

If anyone wants a crazy crazy hard workout program, i totally recommend this jillian michaels bodyshred. but it is hard on the knees and shoulders (if you have a previous injury like i do)... i should really go to the ortho.

level 1 and 2 were tolerable and fun. level 3 omg, i just couldn't do it. level 4 is going to take a lot of work to master. i cant even imagine what level 5-10 is going to be like if i can't even do three Chat Icon Chat Icon

I mostly watch what I eat but haven't been strict enough with my daily food diary - which is why I haven't seen the scale move

I was super strict 2 weeks ago and the scale was jumping down. But then birthday dinners, cakes and straight up binge days brought it back

This weekend I have my nephew visiting with his girlfriend so I'll be eating freely lol

But come Monday - it's on!!! For real


I did start T-25 again and 3 days in I could barely walk my legs are so sore. Like literally, crying as I walk up and down stairs soooooooo I took 2 days off. Starting again tomorrow

2016 Weight Loss Challenge

I've gained enough weight lately that I'm the highest non-pregnancy weight I've ever been. :( I've been in therapy for my fear of flying but I took my flight this past weekend (hurray!) and now I'm going to work on my weight issues. Hopefully I'll be able to get to the root of things.

same here.

Started again with may 1st. trying an old version of WW again. In week one. DH is doing it with me.

also went back to my weights in the evening. Now just need to incorporate jogging.

Right after Cali trip, I moved and work has been beast. April has really sucked for me but I need to get back on track and I also feel like every weekend in something! I need motivation!! It's so hard to start again! Chat Icon

ok, so I gained more wt over the last year than I thought. So disgusted with myself, I feel like a bloated whale!!

to add, my triglycerides are very high and my Ac1 was elevated. But my appetite is none stop. I was never like that :( must be age.

I have no choice but to work on dropping wt.

This was me too. Losing that 12 lbs (still have 8 to go - 13 will make me happy) but my #'s are all mostly normal. Total cholesterol is still a bit high, but I'm working on it.

For me, it was more about getting healthy, then getting skinny. I think that'snow my newest downfall. I know my insides are doing great but my outside is still chunky and I'm not as motivated for that hahahaha

You can do this!! Your hunger may not be hunger at all. Try to figure it out. While doing that, cut up tons of veggies today and keep that around for snacking so you don't over do it with things that are bad for you. Only you can change your eating habit - so do it!!

My LDL and HDL is super good.

People never believe me when I say how much I weigh. My body gains weight very evenly so it's not always so obvious. But I know, especially health wise, I needed to work on losing some weight.

The weather is right for walking. Try to find a peaceful spot to go to so you're killing 2 birds w one stone. Exercise and clearing your mind. I have a lake a few miles away that I LOVE walking around. The pretty swans and ducks, trees, the other people walking with their pets - it's a very peaceful spot and I always feel so good walking there.

You can do this. It's small steps. Choosing better foods. Walking a bit more. Drinking more water. Little bit each day and you'll feel the difference before you see it, which will help you continue on Chat Icon
