How long until you started temping, opk, etc?
So DH and I have started TTC but we've kind of just been "winging" it. It's only been 2 cycles so I'm still willing to just go with the flow and BD to our hearts content  more often during seeming ovulation time. But it got me wondering...
How long before you decided to give up the old fashion way and get into all of kits and stuff to take out the guess work? Or did you start with that from the get-go?

How long until you started temping, opk, etc?
If I don't get a bfp after 3 months of actively ttc, I think I will try opks. I have not desire to temp though. lol

I agree, this is my plan too.
This is 2nd month Ttc I'm using opks which I don't really like but I have no desire to temp.

OPK's are a pretty easy way to just figure out your fertile days.. and not too expensive. I would try that just to start gathering a baseline. There are some girls that don't realize until 6months + trying that they aren't ovulating and then need interventions so I would rather know that from the start. Temping is something I just can't get into. I already have a 6yr old so mornings are nuts and unpredictable for me so temping just has not worked out.

We went 6+ months winging it but we really weren't trying that hard at all so it's no surprise to me that I didn't get pregnant during that time. Now we're 100% in to it so we just started with OPKs last cycle. I'm also planning to start mucinex tomorrow (cd 7) to help with my cervical mucus.
I can not tolerate the thought of temping. I tried it but value my sleep on the weekends to much to wake up at 5am. Lol

Thanks for the feedback! We'll probably give it another cycle or two and if nothing, I'll start doing opk's too. I'm all kinds if nervous and excited at the same time

I temped but it was annoying. For future children I will use OPKs only.
