OPK and temping question

Hi girls! I have never used OPK's before, this was my first month using them. I got a positive on CD 12 and CD 13, then it faded today on CD 14. BUT I got my temperature shift on CD11! I don't know if I should go by my temperature shift or the OPK's.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Your temp shifted on CD11 but did it remain elevated?

Yup. It was elevated for the full three days. And the OPK started to fade today.

Re: OPK and temping question

Are you using the line OPKs or the Clearblue digital one? If you are using the line one its possible that you caught the end of the surge.

I don't think that is the case because I started using the OPK's (the line ones) on CD 7, so I saw the line get progressively darker.

I have been taking my temp for YEARS now, and i have never ovulated so early. Of course my cycle gets wacky when I add OPK's in the mix for the first time. Chat Icon

Same thing happened to me the month I got pg... no Chat Icon to indicate I was about to O. If I wasn't temping, DD might not be here...

eta: to the OP -I would O really early sometimes (like cd9). Sometimes things just get wacky.
