Vitex

Hello everyone,

This is my third month off BCP. I'm currently on CD33 with no ovulation in sight. My first two months were 32/33 days. I only started temping last month and I ovulated on day 23. I have been reading about people using vitex to ovulate earlier. Has anybody used it? If so, any side effects? Did it really help? Can I start taking it now (mid-cycle) to try to stimulate ovulation or should I just try to wait it out? When should I see my doctor??

Its so frustrating...as everyone on this board knows. Its just so ironic that I have spent so many years trying not to get pregnant, and now that I want to, it seems so difficult. I feel like my body is broken I hope its my body still coming off BCP. Don't you think by 3 months I should be back to normal??

i actually took a thing called fertiliblend-i got it at gnc for like $30 or 40 a bottle-its a one month supply. I wasn't really TTC but my cycles were crazy and my dr's said i prob was prob not even o-ing. I decided to try it..i o-d very strong...i was temping at the time too helped a BUNCH and ended up getting pg THAT month! They say it usually takes 3 months for it to work, but it worked right away for me. All i had to do was take one pill in the am and one at night. But i had a great experience with it so i def suggest it to people who arent oing or having really long cycles. ( my pg ended in m/c tho b/c of a uterine disorder but without becoming pg-i would have never known!) HTH!
