I recentely stopped my BCP since we're going to TTC in a few months and AF is nowhere near coming (been temping and stuff) so I want to start taking Vitex just to kinda get a shortened cycle, since I always had a sorta long one before BCP... Has anybody ever experienced side effects from Vitex? Any info is greatly appreciated! thanks!

I started Vitex in the middle of July and have not had any problems with it. It is supposed to help balance hormones and regulate cycles. From what I have read it could take a few months to work. If you are concerned about AF not showing up for a long time, you might want to see your doctor.

I took it and got pg on my first month of using it. It also shortened my cycle, as I ovulated 7 days earlier. I did unfortunately m/c, but don't think the two are related as others on here have used it and got pg. Best of luck.
