DS will be on schedule at 15 mo appt. The only shot I delayed was Hep B which I refused in the hospital and have yet to give to DS.

Re: MMR - did you or didn't you delay?
I did not delay but I did it solo and had to delay others. She got hers at 13m
I was back 3m later for more shots
I loathe the amount of drugs pumped in our children. So I break up not so much 'delay' if that makes sense

Re: MMR - did you or didn't you delay?
I waited until DS was over 2 years old. my SIL swears her boys were fine until they had MMR , and a mgr where I work tells me the same about his son. so I was really scared, but my DS was totally fine. I wanted to wait till DS was developed and very verbal before doing it .
I don't care what theories are out there, and what doctor says what, I just did it out of personal experience

Re: MMR - did you or didn't you delay?
i think its recommended given 15-18 months; i was thinking of doing it at the 18mo visit, not his upcoming one. Dont know why..i feel like they already get so many shots in a short amount of time that maybe i should just wait. Im not worried about autism or anything like that..
im on the fence..im sure it will be fine and i'll talk to the ped about it. I got sick from this vaccine as an infant (well the measles b/c i think it was separate back in 79 and the dr. effed it up)

Re: MMR - did you or didn't you delay?
I am going to delay it, probably until after 3.
My son got it at 2 and he had the worst reaction, really high fever and swollen lymph nodes. He was sick for 2 weeks after that shot.

Re: MMR - did you or didn't you delay?
I like to give it between 15 and 18 months..
DS only gets between 1 and 2 shots per visit- actually at 13 months, this past Monday was the FIRST time he ever got 2 shots together- and I can definitely see a difference in his reaction getting 1 shot vs. getting 2.. he is much more sleepy with 2.
anyway- I will probably gang up MMR with Chix Pox- which I did for DD at 18 months.

Giving it at 2.5 because of personal reasons not because of the autism link.

Re: MMR - did you or didn't you delay?
DS received it at 12 months. He had no reaction. I follow my pediatrician's schedule. DS constantly comes into contact with other kids. For me, there's no reason to delay vaccines.

Re: MMR - did you or didn't you delay?
No delay; DD got it at 12 months.
She was cranky for 2 full weeks and got a bad diaper rash, but no other effects.
Even though the autism study was retracted, I still was paranoid that she would stop babbling, eye contact, etc. but didn't happen.
TG she was back to normal after 2 weeks!

Re: MMR - did you or didn't you delay?
DD got hers at 3 1/2 and DS will get his around 3.
I spread out all their vaccinations despite all the lectures I get from the Ped each visit.

Re: MMR - did you or didn't you delay?
Didn't delay it or split it up. My DD had her MMR at 15 months old, she was totally fine, no reactions or probs with it. I didn't delay it because I trust my ped and I didn't really see a reason or a need for delaying it. I am happy with my decision.

Re: MMR - did you or didn't you delay?
I will be delaying. I follow the alternative vaccine schedule from the Vaccine book, and she always has only one or two shots at a time, and no combo shots. If I still cannot get the M, M, and R separate at 2, I will wait until she is3 for the MMR shot.
