what theme did you do for your DD's first birthday?
i'm trying to plan out DD's first birthday but my first trip to the party store didn't end so well.
i'm not into the "first birthday princess" theme and the only other girl appropriate themes were abby cadaby (who DD doesn't know) and sesame street. what theme did you do and where did you find it?

I decided to do a cupcake theme for DD since she's not really into characters yet. I found my decorations online though.

we did Olivia - we just did red plates, red napkins, red cups, etc.., olivia balloons from ebay and olivia cartoons on when we were in the house.

i did a yo gabba gabba theme just a couple weeks ago for my son first birthday because thats really he only character he likes
i found alot of the stuff for it on amazon

We had a joint bday party for my DS and my niece so we did a circus theme, it was a great party!!!

We are mixing sesame and circus  we could not decide so we combined them.

we were suppose to do Mickey Mouse clubhouse but we had to cancel DS party due to the fact that our second DS cannot be around crowds until he is 3 months of age...

DS1 was a beach theme, because he came home memorial day weekend.
DS2 was Mardi Gras theme, because he was born the week after.

"mod Monkey" ....We call the twins our monkeys so it was perfect... I loved the color theme too.

I did Sesame for her 1st with a puppet show and bakery cake with Sesame decorations.
For her 2nd I did a Yo Gabba Gabba Dance party with some home made cupcakes and some downloaded theme music from my Ipod.

DD's 1st birthday is later this month. We are doing butterflies as the theme. There is a REALLY cute new minnie mouse theme (plates, cups, balloons) just coming out at party city though which i thought was adorable too.

We had a luau. I wasn't into the whole princess thing either. I knew there would be plenty of time for that. It was a lot of fun.

We did a Rubber Ducky theme...he loves his bath and the water so it was kind of a no-brainer.
