Sleep Regression @ 11 months?

Anyone experience this? DD used to sleep through the night fantastically and in the last 2-3 weeks she's been waking up 1-2x a night. Is this a common age for a sleep regression? She is also starting to walk, so I'm not sure if that's correlated.

I think sleep regression at any age is normal.

Is she teething?

Does she still take 2 naps a day? Might be time to drop a nap or adjust her schedule.

Good point. Yes, she still takes 2 naps, but I've noticed her afternoon nap is not that great in length and seems to always be on the shorter side. This is likely a dumb question, but how do I go about transitioning her to one nap? She's full time in daycare Monday through Friday. Talk to the teacher about going to 1 nap?

I agree with both of the above statements.

DS is a terrible sleeper when he is teething. This weekend he cut 3 teeth...

We dropped down to 1 nap at daycare around 12 months and then 1 nap at home around 14-15 months. Daycare took the lead and I followed. I tried to get him down to one nap around a year at home, but he would not stay up for me - LOL.

Yep! I would push her morning nap to a later time and drop the afternoon nap. She'll be exhausted the first few days, but will adapt quickly.

Re: Sleep Regression @ 11 months?

I'm struggling with this... Mine are waking 4 + times a night. I have no clue what it is but they wake as soon as we put them down. And if they happen to stay down, its only for a short while. We are losing our minds. My twins just turned 11 months and teething badly. this has been going on since about 9 1/2 months.

Do you give motrin/tylenol?

I had to do CIO to get my DS to sttn. They need to be able to put themselves to sleep. I got into the habit of nursing him to sleep and then at 12 months, 1 week, I had enough and made him fuss in his crib to go to sleep. Once he could do that, he started sleeping better - even when he was teething or sick.
