I threw in the towel
I have been avoiding posting the 2ww anymore its been an active year of trying. Over 5 years of no protection and I am finally done. Going to the doctor to get started on finding out what is wrong. It has been incredibly painful lately for me especially since I have a job that works with kids and having people turn to me to say why don't you have them yet - eh. However, I have time on my side still just not finances - so hopefully whatever it is will not cost a ton because then i think we will be CF forever.
Wanted to add should I still go to my regular gyno or just go to a specific doctor directly?

I threw in the towel
I would start with an endocrinologist and have them test your thyroid. That could be a big obstacle (it was for me)

Re: I threw in the towel
Check with your insurance. I had to go to my Obgyn before going to a RE. They required my Obgyn to do the initial tests and this month will be my first RE appt. good luck. I know how you feel.

Re: I threw in the towel
just found out i have to go to the Obgyn first. The place I use has Obgyn and REs so if you need to go to another person its just the next door over which makes me happy to hear. I will be getting blood work done in two weeks along with my first meeting. Then proceed from there she said.

Re: I threw in the towel
i would go to a RE. i went to my gyno right away and she told me to follow the calendar method. then after going to my endo about my thyroid, my dr suggested a RE. i'm so happy i decide to finally go to a RE. i have off cycles and the calendar method doesn't work for me.
