DH threw the towel in in 5 days
DH has been on vacation for 1 week now and still has 1 week to go. Well he was a silly man and commented on how "you have the life, getting to sit home all day". Well I decided to let him see first hand the life of a SAHM.  However, all he had to do was take care of the kids, this didnt include house cleaning, make bottles, laundry etc. Well on the 5th day he caved in and said he couldnt do it anymore. He was going to lose his sanity.  I reminded him about all the other things I have to do all day long on top of taking care of the kids and now he insists that I either have a day time nanny or a magic wand.
He has one more week off and I bet he is counting the days down until he returns to work.

I'm grateful that DH does a fair amount of DS 'shifts'.... he totally knows the horrors! We both understand when the other has reached their wits end, and try to take over.
poor mom.... she's taking care of DS while I work

If I didnt keep telling him the week before "you wont make it 3 days" he probably would have caved even sooner.

Yes, DH has to watch DS for the weekend when I go to work. He totally understands what it is to be a SAHM/SAHD. He told me he would never be a SAHD. He loves being with DS but he prefers work. He usually tells me "he (DS) kicked my a$$ today".
