QOTD WEDNESDAY
Please share your ideas of how you are going to tell your DH about your BFP.
Will he be in the bathroom when you POAS or are you setting up an elaborate plan to tell him?
The reason for this question is because I find myself on youtube for hrs watching videos of men or families finding out the woman is pregnant. I have the biggest urge to have that same feeling and get that amazing reaction. So tell us how you will spread the news

I bought a "BUMP" tank and when I get my BFP - I'm going to wear it for when he comes home  It might take him a minute or two to realize though in which case I really hope I can keep a straight face I can't wait!!!!

I would like to think of something cute and fun but I have a feeling I am just going to start screaming from the bathroom or come out with a huge smile and he will just know instantly. I am kind of hoping hes not home when I get my BFP so I have time to let it settle in and surprise him. Maybe go buy a little mets outfit or something he would LOOOOOVE that.

I plan on capturing the reaction on video. I even found the perfect spot for the video camera to record LOL
I think I am just going to noncholantley (sp) hand him the positive test and wait for the reaction.
I am almost as excited to tell my family, mom and sister. I will again video tape it LOL And I might tell them that I want to show them a video and put in the video of me telling DH and let them see that.

I am going to wrap up a Yankee onsie - he asked if I would hide a BFP from him and I said no, but I think I would love to get his reaction to the present rather than me running out of the bathroom!!

I am going to give him a frame that says mom+dad=ME and put a photo of the positive test in it. I would also like to video tape it somehow without him knowing.

was it you who posted about watching announcements on youtube a few days ago? bc i spent prob 2 hours of work glued to them crying on Monday!!!  Now I'm trying to come up with something good. I'd like to at least get us telling our parents on video. I loved the ones where everyone gathers for a pic and the DH is like "ok on three everyone say 'MARY'S PREGNANT!!'" and everyones like "MARYS PREG....WHAAAAAAAAAA???" and he's not taking a pic but actually video-taping. those are the best!

I don't know. I always planned to test alone and not tell him and then plan a special dinner for the two of us and give him something daddy related. But I have a feeling by the time it happens, I'm going to be so excited, I won't be able to hold it in all day and probably run and show him the pee stick immediately.

Oh yea I forgot this. I also want to video his reaction. I have the flip and last month I actually took it in the bathroom with me so if I got a positive I could tape his reaction when I came out of the bathroom and showed him (the master bathroom is in our bedroom). I just noticed yesterday the camera is STILL in the bathroom, he even asked me why. I was like "i dont know! did you put it there?!"

I love the Mom +Dad = Me frame, I saw it in Bed, Bath and Beyond this past Monday. I also like the idea of a sports onesie (for DH it would be Yankees or Redskins.) So fun!

I love the picture ones also, such a great idea. DId you see the one where they did that and after everyone started screamng they got back together to really take the pick and the dh said "on 3 everyone say, with twins LOL" So cute

hahaha YES i saw that one!!!! If I remember right, they didn't believe him at first! I also love the ones where it takes the gma or gpa a few minutes to get it and you literally see a lightbulb go on in their eyes!! lol those are so funny. The girls in my office prob thought i was nuts bc i was laughing and crying and prob making all these noises trying to hold it in hahhaah

I would really love to do something cute but I dont know if Im gonna be able to hold it in either Im might just have to just show him to make sure Im not imagining it I think it will be easier to surprise our familys.

I bought a T-shirt for DD that says big sister and I was going to have her wear it after I POAS and got a BFP and see if he notices FYI I had to but another shirt because she already grew out of the first one that I got..It's taking longer than expected

I bought a bib that says "I love My Dad" and a book about loving my dad (can't remember the exact title and i have it in hiding lol) I figured I'd write something sweet in the inside ocver of the book and wrap both things up and give them to him. I'd love to get it on tape also, but I have to get a video camera first!

We made a deal I would only test with him. When I had the CP, we were together and totally expecting a BFN. We both were in shock together for a full 5 minutes. I was glad we were together finding out.

Now these have me crying too
I can't keep my mouth shut so I'd probably tell him when the day comes that I am able to test.
I haven't really thought about it. He might think I lost my marbles if I actually bought clothes. He  everytime I look at stuff in the stores b/c he is worried I might buy it.
