**WEDNESDAY** QOTD
Sorry this is a little later this morning. My DD is sick so I am getting a late start today.
Anyway, having children of course means creating special moments, memories, and traditions. So...................................
What are some of the special moments or memories you hope to create with your children one day?
For me the first thing that comes to mind is the day after Xmas Day. When I was little the 26th was ALWAYS the day that we stayed in all day, got to eat Xmas cookies and leftovers, and my mom and dad would spend the day putting all of our new toys together and playing with us. It was just a nice, relaxing day of family fun. We got to stay up late too and watch Xmas movies and just have fun. It was so simple but so memorable. That is a tradition I would like to carry on with my DD and future children.
There are so many special moments I hope to create with my children over the years and I can't wait!!

Great question!
Different things that our families do for the holidays. I can't wait to recreate that. I can't wait for my siblings kids to spoil my kids like I do/did them.

We took my nephews with us to go cut our Christmas tree, I can't wait to make it a tradition for my family.

One memory I'm looking forward to is getting a new pet!
DH and I are HUGE animal lovers!! I will definitely cave when my DC asks for a dog! Right now we have 2 cats and they are the loves of my life (after DH, of course! )

Re: **WEDNESDAY** QOTD
hmmm good question!
Ditto on the special holiday memories. I would def like to have dinner together as much we can during the week. As a kid I was very involved in a lot of activities and so were my siblings we all cared about each other and my parents worked but we did not have a lot of qt time with no running around. Even though I want to involve/expose my kids to tons of activities and experiences I also want to make goal for set family together time every week!
I also did not have any pets growing up. DH and I have an 8 month old puppy so I am excited to see my kids grow up with a pet!

Def. all the traditions my family and DH and I have for Christmas. Like decorating the tree and the house the day after Thanksgiving. Doing the Advent calendar every night and stuff like that.

My parents made such a big deal over all the holidays, and birthdays. I'm excited for St. Pat's parades and Easter egg hunts. I'm excited for special bday dinners, school concerts and all the special moments of regular life.
