Wednesday QOTD

When you get your BFP will you tell everyone right away or will you wait a certain amount of time before spilling the beans?

I will share here right away, but I would like to wait to tell family and friends until I have seen the heartbeat. But DH is sort of a blabbermouth , so we will see what happens!

ITA! It's going to be hard, because I'm sure DH and I will be bursting, but I'll feel more comfortable after seeing the heartbeat. And I'll only tell our families at that point and super close friends. I'll probably tell other friends and co-workers at 12 weeks or so.

I will tell my immediate family and best friends right away, but will wait til the 3-4 month mark before telling anyone else. I say this now, but I prob won't be able to keep my mouth shut!

I will tell here asap.. then DH But I would like to wait at least until I am 8 weeks to tell anyone else..

DH and I are both blabbermouths! I would prefer to wait because I know once I tell my family it's going to spread like wildfire. But at the same time, I know there's no way DH and I will be able to wait to tell them.

When we were pregnant with my DD we said we would wait a few weeks BUT we couldn't keep it to ourselves. The same night I got my BFP we told our parents and siblings and some close friends. At 9 weeks we told extended family and at 12 weeks we told work.

My ILs live across the country and I would love to be able to tell them in person. Depending on when we get our BFP and if there are any plans for them to be in town within a month or two of us finding out, I would try and hold out to tell both of our parents together. If not, I'll probably tell my folks right away. Friends and other family members probably not until 12 weeks. That is, of course, if I don't go screaming it at the top of my lungs as soon as I find out!

I will tell you girls right away. I will tell my mother and sisters after we hear the heartbeat. As for everyone else, I will tell them after 3 months, hopefully i don't show till 5 months.

Obviously you ladies will be the first to know other than DH!

I would really like to wait to tell my immediate family and close friends until after that first sono appt but I know that will be very hard to do. I will prob end up telling my dad, my sister and his mom the same day we get the BFP! Let's just hope that my dad and sister can keep their mouths shut!! My DH also has a blabbermouth so I am sure he is going to tell his job right away but they have a small office and are all really close so it's not the same as me telling my job right away.

I am going to wait to tell everyone outside of my immediate circle and my job until I am at least 12 weeks.

I would like to wait until Im about 12 weeks but I know my DH and he will tell everyone the moment he finds out!

i will wait until i hear the heartbeat to tell most people.

i havent told anyone all of my ttc issues so i want to make sure its going to stick before i share all.

I'll tell here right away. We'll try and hold out until hearing the heartbeat to tell immeadiate family and close friends. Extended family and others we'll wait until at least 12 weeks.

I think we will def wait it out at least until we hear the heartbeat. My last BFP we told everyone the next day and then i miscarriaged a week later. So while it was good to have a lot of support it also sucked bc they were very excited for the baby too.

I will tell immediate family right away and probably one or two close friends.....


Other than that, we'll probably wait till the 8-10 week mark to tell extended family and friends .... then at 12 weeks I'll let my boss know!

We're having this debate now. DH wants to take out a skywriter ad as soon as I POAS; I want to wait until we know everything's kosher before telling anyone, even immediate family. We'll probably wind up compromising like we do on everything else.

So far, just DH and this board! I am dying to tell my BF but DH doesn't want me to say anything. So for now...everything is hush hush.
