For those just starting out....do
you worry that you will have trouble getting pregnant? How long will you try before you see a Dr.? I have no reason to believe that something will stop me from getting pregnant but how do you really know? Do women get fertility testing done before they start trying?

Re: For those just starting out....do
A girl I went to high school with got tested and she's not even married yet... she had it in a blog on her myspace, lol.
I didn't think I would have any trouble, but we're in month three now. If we don't get a BFP by May, I'm going to see my Dr.

Re: For those just starting out....do
DH & I never imagined that we would have troubles (no one in our families have any history). Once we hit the 6 month mark, I went to my reg OB & we discussed some things. Now that we are onto Month 10, we are pursuing more consultations. We truly wanted to wait the 1 year bc we both do not believe there is anything wrong. But how much of "doing it all right" can you take

Re: For those just starting out....do
I was absolutely terrified. We already have a child together, but I was convinced she was just a miracle & we'd never conceive again (I have reasons for believing that, but they're probably not true). We ended up conceivingon our second month, but unfortunately, I miscarried. We're in the middle of our first cycle trying after the m/c. I'm slightly more relaxed because now I'm figuring if we could conceive twice, quickly & with no issue, we're probably fine.
I think it's a normal & very common fear.

Re: For those just starting out....do
I worry about everything in my life, so this is at the top of the list. I think it's even further emphasized because being a mom is all I've ever wanted.

Re: For those just starting out....do
The thought never leaves my mind. Everytime i see a pregnant woman, or a woman with children i wonder will i ever have that same oppurtunity. Dh and i did get BFP after are second time just trying but we too unfortunately misscarried at 8 weeks. So is it me? was there something wrong? these are the questions i have as well.

Re: For those just starting out....do
I'm terrified as well. I worry that we should have started sooner. I worry that my DH is going to begin to resent the sex tyrant, I worry about getting my BFP and then m/c. Too much worrying!!

Re: For those just starting out....do
The fear crosses my mind frequently. I just didn't think it would be this hard/complicated (and we haven't been trying long at all). Especially when you see the Spears sisters popping out babies like its their j-o-b. The "what if" factor has already planted a seed in my mind. I think it's natural. The more we try, the more we want a baby, so when it doesn't happen, you can't help but fear something bigger may be going on.

Re: For those just starting out....do
I can totally related to everyones anxiety about TTC. My regular gyn did some preliminary check of hormone levels on me after 3 months TTC because I requested it. I went to a RE and my DH had his swimmers checked after 6 months of BFN's.
