Okay please tell me every single TTC thing you can think of that we can try next cycle.
So far we have:
temping/charting CBEFM OPKs PreSeed Instead Cups
What else can I do to maximize my chances this month? I want to do anything and everything possible to get pregnant!
The only other thing I could think of was Mucinex. Can anyone tell me when/how much to take?

Re: The Works
Don't forget legs up or on a pillow for a few minutes after....terribly romantic, I know, but I have had multiple people tell me this worked the month they got their BFP.
Oh, and the Barilla pasta (I have no clue why, but why not give it a shot?)

i'm not sure of that. Are you going to start testing for O early? If so - the FIRST day you POAS, take your first one!

Re: The Works
I asked for some advice during my last cycle on the pg board, and a few people told me to try Robitussen. I started taking it twice a day a few days before O, and some days after. I don't know if this is what made the difference, but this was my BFP month.
I wish you lots of ...you are so sweet to everyone on this board, as you were to me, and I really hope you get your BFP this month!

Re: The Works
I thought of something....diet! I took a nutrition course last week and I read an article on diet and fertility and how it's related. They don't say anything about barilla- but basically the point is with eating that pasta, you're adding more whole grains to your diet and that's VERY good.
The article was all about what's in the book The Fertility Diet and the study that it was based on. Do you have that book yet? For my course I had to write a paper, and I focused on a fertility diet!
This might be old news to you but I thought I'd bring it up again, just incase! newsweek article on fertility diet
My favorite fact- eat dairy!! HELOOOOO Ice cream!

Re: The Works
evening primrose oil increases your CM........
Full fat dairy aids in ovulation
I would have DH shy away from drinking minimal to no alchohol since new studies show that alcohol effect the formation of sperm as well as motility.
Good Luck!!! I really hope this is your month!!!!

Re: The Works
Ok this is going to be waaaay TMI, but who cares?
Maybe try changing the position in which he leaves his "deposit."
This is the first month where I had him leave it differently and normally it would gush out minutes later, but not this time. It all stayed in. I'll let you know in about a week if it worked!!!

Re: The Works
Eat really healthily; lots of fruits & veggies, whole grains, some protein, avoid too much dairy. Last time I got preggers, I was seeing an acupuncturist, who is also a nutritionist. He said that if your feeding your body clean foods & are maintaining your pH level that it is easier for your body to focus it's energy elsewhere. At that time, I was making fresh carrot juice daily & I followed the diet to a T. Soon after I got my BFP. You can look up pH balance diet on-line & you can get lists of foods that are acceptable. For me it was a drastic change in my eating but worth it!
